I really hope Billy would return one day but prob be a recast if he did. So excited that Sky is back again though and Lucas and Vanessa even though its only a year since they left. And Janelle im kinda hoping that means either Dylan or Bree will come with her as Janee wont as Eliza is doing well in America. Also a Lauren and Guy reunion ^_^

I agree, I think if they was to bring back Billy it would probably be a recast?

I Wish Sky, Lucas, Vanessa and Janelle was returning to Neighbours for longer but it's good that they are coming back to Neighbours even if it's just as guests.

I hope Dylan and Bree return too and it would be good if Janee returned as well and also Libby and many past characters.

Neighbours star thanks Eddie Redmayne in new video message

Neighbours star Jackie Woodburne has thanked Oscars winner Eddie Redmayne in a new video message.

Redmayne, who won the Best Actor Academy Award for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, yesterday paid tribute to both Woodburne and her on-screen husband Alan Fletcher.

Responding to the tribute, Woodburne thanked Redmayne in a special video message where she also praised him for his own talent.

She said: "Congratulations Eddie on all the accolades on your beautiful performance, and thank you so much for the mention.

"It means more than I can tell you to all of us at Neighbours, not just myself and Alan. Thank you and good luck with everything you do in the future. Congratulations again."

Fletcher, who plays Karl Kennedy, also thanked Redmayne, saying: "To receive such generous praise from an actor of Eddie Redmayne's startling ability and status has been thrilling for both of us."

Eddie Redmayne has praised Neighbours stars Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne following his Oscars win.

Redmayne won the Best Actor Academy Award for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, but has insisted that he learned skills from watching the Neighbours duo daily.

Redmayne said: "I think they're amazing. I'm a huge fan of them from old. I've learnt a lot from them from watching them daily."

Redmayne has previously praised the stars of the Australian soap, who play long-standing characters Karl and Susan Kennedy

he reiterated: "They are the greatest unsung acting duo in history. Watch, and you'll find that everything they do is on another level of genius. I really do think so."

Neighbours 30th anniversary: Special broadcasts planned on Channel 5

Channel 5 has revealed plans to celebrate Neighbours' 30th anniversary with a special companion show and repeats of two classic episodes.

I think I heard that they will show the first episode of Neighbours? If they do that would be great because I never got to see the first episode because I wasn't born yet.

Did you watch the first episode of Neighbours? Was Harold and Madge in the first episode?

It would be a brilliant surprise if Scott and Charlene was in one of the episodes of Neighbours.

Neighbours: First look at the Erinsborough festival disaster

Neighbours has released a behind-the-scenes video which offers a first look at the Erinsborough festival disaster.

The soap is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month, with a number of big storylines planned to mark the occasion.

Australian viewers saw Erinsborough festival kick off today (March 4), marking the beginning of an exciting few weeks for the show.

Fans in the UK will have to tune in on March 18 to watch the anniversary episode, which will be the opening day of the Festival.

As previously reported, the festival doesn't run smoothly when returnee Harold Bishop accidentally drives into the marquee.

The video shows the out-of-control van emerging from around the corner, as several Ramsay Street residents are enjoying the festivities.

When Harold regains consciousness in the car, he is stunned to find his late wife Madge sitting next to him in the passenger seat. This will mark the start of a special storyline which sees Madge back as a figment of Harold's imagination.

Along with Madge and Harold, other familiar faces back for the Festival include Janelle Timmins, Lucas Fitzgerald, Vanessa Villante, Nina Tucker, Des Clarke, Sky Mangel, Guy Carpenter and Tom Ramsay.

No I was only a baby when it was aired. I heard the first episode and scott and charlenes wedding will be aired after the companion show . And I agree about Kathy too(off topic I know)
