Back on topic though: I hope that rather than this bring the mood down for the Grammy's tonight that it's used in a positive way - ie: that Whitney would have wanted people to enjoy something that was a huge part of her life: the art of being a spectacular performer - which undoubtedly she was.

Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina got into an angry shouting match with police officers outside the hotel room where her mother was found dead ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement sources ... Bobbi Kristina showed up on the 4th floor of the Beverly Hilton several hours after Whitney's death. We're told when officers informed her no one was allowed to see the body -- BK screamed, cursed and demanded to see her mother.

Ultimately, she was not allowed into the room and left. We're told Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick also showed up later. She too was turned away by officers.

As we reported earlier ... other family members and friends -- who were in the room when authorities arrived -- identified Whitney's body.

aw don't. Poor girl on top of being devastated must feel like people don't care about her mother. All those clebs are like "oh whitney was the greatest of all time we will always love you" yet are having a party downstairs while her body is still warm upstairs.

I mean, it's absolutely tragic and my condolences go out to her family and friends but it's far from surprising really.
Celebrities who lead the life she did usually always end tragically, and she took drugs all through her career.

I think the reason might be that deep down we hope that they will pull through it and to be honest, for me anyway, when I think of a celeb I admire I think more about the reasons why I admire them and less about their private life so when they go it is still genuinely a shock. In general it's shocking when a celeb that has just always been there regardless just stops being there

It could be that people place celebs on a pedestal due to their talent, but they are mere mortals and if you abuse your body over a considerable period of time it will stop working.

Hours before her death whitney was seen giving monica and brandy who were due to perform at the pre-party. They are not performing anymore though, too distraught. She was brandys fave and it w as also brandys birthday yesterday

Whitney Houston's 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was just rushed to Cedears-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles ... TMZ has learned.

According to our sources ... Bobbi was taken out of the Beverly Hilton, where Whitney died yesterday, on a stretcher.

After reportedly breaking down backstage pre-show, Brown (who shared daughter Bobbi Kristina, 18, with Houston) declined to join his bandmates for the opening song. According to a concertgoer, he then went onstage for the second song to massive cheers, singing "Hit Me Off" with gusto.

At the end of another song, Brown shouted "I love you, Whitney!" and blew a kiss to the sky, looking visibly teary.

During the ballad "Tenderoni," Brown broke down onstage, the source says. As he sobbed, he asked the audience to sing along to the hit.

Brown and Houston were married from 1992 to 2007.

Despite their volatile relationship, Houston told Oprah Winfrey in 2009, "I loved him so much...He was my drug. I didn't do anything without him."

Authorities reported Saturday evening that "no signs of foul play" were behind Houston's shocking passing, and her cause of death remains unknown. She entered rehab for drug and alcohol addictions last May.
