Well boos and cheers mean little as to the crowd, they booed Aaron last year regularly and he topped the votes cast every week and also won the series.
I'd rather have the boos and win the show or survive than get the cheers but lose and get voted out.

yeah but that series was a mess
and arron was the only one who could really win it....despite other HMs being more liked than him, fans of jay/alex didnt bother voting for their favourite to win, because it was that rubbish
