..I don't understand how it would follow that a mother who loved her children wouldn't be capable of committing suicide though, sometimes someone can be in such a dark place that it's hard for them to see beyond that point and surely by that reasoning then extreme dieting and taking risks with your health when you loved your children would be similar..?..things are just not that easily rationalised when it comes to psychology and why people do things..anyway, there doesn't seem to be any reason to think that Peaches did..this is so, so sad/tragic, her poor family...

I've got to agree. All this "she loved her kids too much to commit suicide" is nonsense. Many people who commit suicide leave their families devestated and astonished. Also, she hasn't ever been the most balanced of girls, so nothing would really surprise me.

I do feel for her family, especially her two little boys. But I hardly recognise this woman that's being portrayed in the press and on here as the same Peaches Geldoff I knew before she died and became a combination of saint and Mother Earth.

Noone is portraying her as that at all.

People are just actually being genuinely saddened by her passing. It pisses me off so much that people take that as arse licking, its not it just a thing called RESPECT.

Maybe you've missed some of the simpering news reports I've managed to catch. Anyway... I get where you're coming from. But I had no respect for her in life. She had famous parents and consequently had many opportunities opened to her that were not open to more talented people. It's very sad that such a young woman has died leaving little children, and it's just awful for her family... I feel for them all. But that's as far as it goes for me. And please... don't emphasise the word 'respect' like you have more idea of what it means than I do. I merely save it for people who've done something to earn it.
