Yeah personal insults aren't necessary, I honestly always find discourses about gender and sexism so incredibly important and interesting

It wasn't an insult.
I'm sorry if your offended.

But using this silly cartoon thingy to back up your support for someone.

What else did you expect me to think?

Honestly, I don't remember much about what Cami was like, but benevolent sexism and sexism for both genders due to society's structures is a real thing and very relevant in the context of social experiments such as Big Brother

And end of the day, insinuating that Cami's actions aren't as signficant as those of Conor's is also just promoting benevolent sexism - viewing women as sweet innocent people who cannot by any means be a threat to men.

What is this cartoon?

Those you've listed above are real humans.

Is this another TIBB txt spk that I don't understand?

I'm taking a shower, I'll be back in ten.

I need to urinate, too.
Not in the shower, though.

But if Cami really did assault one of her exes, surely she's more than just a cartoon caricature not to be taken seriously?

In the house though, I don't care how they are outside the house, and anyway I don't even like Cami Li that much at all, just she was no where near as bad as Helen.

It probably has a lot to do with what Conor said in the house versus what Cami did outside of the house. Cami legit assaulted somebody, but because we didn't see it televised with some dramatic music and reaction shots of other housemates, a lot of people aren't really going to be able to care as much as they would if it was on t.v. It's a sad truth, but were more emotionally attached to things that we experience "firsthand."

And I would definitely say that most of Cami's comments against Alicia and Perez were just as bad as Conor's comments against Deana, but another factor that could go into more people supporting Cami while hating Conor, is the fact that Cami went against Perez (who was ****ing hated on an entirely new level) making Cami's actions in the house seem more acceptable.

Hating on Conor for what he said, while not being bothered by what Cami did makes no sense to me, but there are a ton of factors that go into housemate likability and they aren't inherently sexist.

Not to say that there isn't an obvious girl oriented support base on this forum, but even that probably has more to do with production and casting. Things really aren't that black and white or simple

I agree.
I think with the point in bold, it's more double standards which exists within the viewers.

If a housemate goes against another housemate you dislike, one is more likely to find their behaviour acceptable, as it fits in with your opinion. Helen vs. Ashleigh, from BB15 being perfect example of this.

But, if a housemate goes against your favourite housemate, one is more likely to go against that person.

Reading back the past few pages. The term straight acting is actually gross. And Cami Li is pond scum

When Rylan tries to look sincere whilst saying 'BB is not set up', then it's hard to believe anything he does say.
