It would make sense if the outside area was enclosed. Also with the wrap around LEDs it would look fantastic. Like a brand new show...

Anyone thinking they will announce evictees from a studio instead of the crowd?

The main set area looks tiny and that's a good thing, the less space for the scum the better

pleaaaase put a roof on it too, it'll be so much better

The public knowing what the crowd think is one of the things I hate most about C5 BB.

Also does anyone else actually think the house extension itself looks tiny? maybe if it's two storeys then the interior will be bigger but it's certainly less 'huge' than I was expecting

The garden looks small too, I hate small gardens

I'm not sure if I want a roof tbh, one thing I love about BB in the summer is seeing it start whilst it's still light outside and it gradually getting darker during the live show <333 Although tbf we rarely saw the sky in the old C5 set, so it's not the same as how it was on C4.

I tried to post a picture.. It didn't work! I think the stuff around the audience area may be temporary, for building the stands or wraparound screen? Or maybe it is all the rigs or even for a roof. I don't know anymore and I don't even know what I'd prefer

Going from the plans I thought the garden would be a tiny bit smaller than the original garden. I think the extension is huge though. They will utilise it well I think.

I'm looking forwards to seeing how the new exterior is going to look (it will probably look even more tacky and garish than the old one) but I'm still excited

The extension isn't 'huge'. There is a new studio - build as a more permanent structure than the previous that was deemed dangerous in the wet/ windy British conditions. Then there is the outdoor area - that DOESN'T have planning permission to have a roof- so will remain open aired.
I think if the door is moved to the new extension (as plans suggest, but didn't say whether the old door would remain) and an audience is placed either side of a catwalk in stands it will look really smart; especially if above speculated, there are wrap-around LED screens. Really looking forward to how this will all come across on TV, although it looks like its 6 weeks away from being inhabitable, which is concerning!! Especially considering we now have the eye! Cannot wait for this series, just such a let down that the actual game has got so boring!

It's the size I expected looking at the plans. The set is not very big at all, it was never going to be huge.

New photos!

Looks like that scaffolding around the set was to put up the LED wrap screen.

Also

1) The crowd area looks tiny and that's a-okay with me, I hope Emma spends more time inside the new studio than out of it tbh

2) We can see inside the new extension yay

3) The fact the old garden still exists tells me we're definitely having two separate houses tbh
