There's no denying however that the comment itself was racist, whether that was his intention or not.

Yeah, I do get where you're coming from, and maybe I was wrong to say there's nothing racist in the term at all, it just bothers me a little bit when it's implied that someone is racist whenever a reference is made to someone's skin colour, regardless of what that reference is because with racism especially, there's such huge degrees of it, hence my comments.
(Kind of half bringing it back to Nikki lol...) I was actually rewatching some old BB7 clips last night randomly, and saw Nikki refer to Sam as a 'Man-Beast', and it made me think about this discussion, and how it was something that I'd say is clearly a transphobic comment, but at the same time I don't really consider her to be transphobic. But anyway, that's still not really relevant to the thread so I'll stop derailing now (It's all Daniel's fault really... )

tbh if Big Brother is going to fail there's no choice but to give it a BBUS/BBCAN format maybe with all the old housemates
