From Ch5HD AM Live paper review

I dont think you should get weekends off until you are 40, young people should be forced to work 7 days a week the lazy buggers and it would help the economy

Note Bank of England sharply raised the 2017 growth outlook from 0.8% to 2%

maybe carney should have shut his trap about the EU as he now has egg on his smug face. I may have a look in some old SD threads to see what members were riding on the back of the 0.8% forecast and predicting brexit doom and gloom, I think I can recall at least one....

Nurses get days off
because its hard work and some
old folks die while they are working.

LT is talking about Lazy young buggers
they can work 7 days a week
paid for each DAY

So you think a young person who perhaps works in retail should work 7 days a week instead?

Is that what you mean?

Look its simple
by working 7 days a week
contracts are done.
Then they move onto the 2nd contact
Each day they get paid
All Legal.

Plebs? is that how you look at Britain's workforce? is that how you look at the workers under you? shame on you Arista... shame on you.

Would you be happy to see your grandparents and your parents work 7 days a week and into the grave? What the hell happened to people like you?

Of Course Not DR
but its a word used on tibb
(The MP said he never
used it - but loads of T-shirts sold ,anyway)
that word gets the Young UP
and ready.

Work hard, save some of what you earn then you can retire a bit earlier.
Working to over 70 is not very realistic if you do something very labour intense.

FFS what work can a 73 year old realistically do? It's too old for anything beyond a small number of easy hours. What this essentially means is that retirement no longer exists unless you fund it yourself.
