In terms of history and the passing of time slavery was happening yesterday and slavery in the form of children working for ten pence a day is still happening in 2018.

..absolutely, sheriff...we can go back to those cuddly toys of by gone eras etc which have no negative or awful, offensive attachments and we can embrace them today, as we did then...but to bring ‘past ignorances’ to the present day is wrong and regressive, I think...that’s not ‘nostalgia’ or ‘vintage’ in any acceptable way, acceptable for anyone..regardless of skin colour...

It is a satirical site. White golly's exist (although I'd assume in very small numbers and just so in situations like with this pub it's so they can prop one up in amongst all the others as a way to be able to argue that the gollys aren't racist), but yeah the article posted is completely false and is subtly taking the piss throughout.
