Why do they have to make it so campy and silly, this show would be 10x more popular and better if they took a serious tone to it

The format is strong enough to hold its own. The addition of ridiculous deaths and camp elements ruins it and makes it seem like the producers don’t have enough faith in the raw format.

It'd be cool if at some point people could get a chase or something and if they outrun the killer they survive rather than just going off and knowing one dies.
