“Someone else is still using this PC. If you shut down now, they could lose unsaved work.”

And who is that person? I don’t have a Siamese duplicate.

Bloke I have stood 8 ft away from 5 days a week for 4 months before christmas.

At work, suddenly left the job. Quoting personal reasons...been jailed for 14 years.

I spoke to him every day. Seemed fine. I wish I could meet some good people, but I only get to say goodbye to them.

He seemed ok at work, perhaps my head was down to much to suss him out properly.

A dream I had about visiting a Saudi Arabian restaurant and a G&T being £18.95 and the most Middle Eastern spot of food on the menu being pie and mash. Again, make it make sense.

It was Stacey Slater who paid my taxi and I left my vape charging outside at night hoping it wouldn’t be nicked while I jumped into a taxi and went for misfitted, over-priced scran.

Default The .. what made you ponder today thread

With so many wanted people going missing in this country.. often dangerous people

Maybe we should put microchips in each and every person coming to live on this country … legal or illegal plus anyone convicted of a serious offence

Then when they go awol .. we’d have GPS reading for them

What have we to lose

Interesting that they don’t have women commenting or as pundits for the Scottish football games …

People working jobs that are quite nichely suited to people with a particular set of traits and being bold about the fact that they don’t care about anyone and anything there and are literally just there for the money and nothing else. Amazon hires and is happy to take on any young-ish person/under-45 regardless of their attitude so if you’re going to complain so much about a job where people’s ultimate welfare is important and a responsibility, go. There are certain jobs you can’t be in just for the money. Including HR. If you genuinely want to make an impact with Human Resources and not just do things by the book and throw people under the bus in the process. People are not discardable terms and conditions. If you haven’t got that kind of empathy you’re better off packing boxes.

You do ponder and really wonder what the hell goes on in some people’s minds and drives them to environments they’re openly completely unsuited to. There must be other ways to pay your rent. But while you are there you’re getting off your bum and you’re getting serious about your job and the people impacted by your performance and decisions if you have much integrity. You can think what you want about your job in private but while you’re there you shut up your dirty mouth if you’ve got nothing good to say about it. Unless you’re asking to be eventually sacked.

Soooo when did football commentating change from simply naming the player in possession to today’s incessant chatting between the two commentators !?

I’ve had to mute the City v Burnley game and put on the Talksport commentary ( had to sync the footage to the audio )

Sheeesh !!

What exactly is supposed to be entertaining about rugby. Maybe it’s just because I’m not Welsh.

Soooo I just heard that some guy called Mr Beast had more YouTube followers than anyone else - 230 million followers !!

So being an inquisitive type I checked his latest offering on YouTube..

Very disappointed

All looked very staged and predictable .

One thing I noticed was that there are ZERO negative comments which suggests that they are always deleted …

Then I checked that special YouTube monitoring app to see what everyone else REALLY think .

Interestingly the vast majority agree with me !!

So why on earth is he soooo popular ?

He comes off like one of those fake positivity all the time kind of people, I'm suspicious of people like that tbh.

Of the big YouTubers, give me Pewdiepie, regardless of whatever controversies he might have accumulated over the years, at least he is funny and genuine imo.
