Tbf there wasn't really any evidence against Huw Edwards, just like there isn't loads against Dan Wootton.

So imo Liam's point is fair that GB News have handled two similar bare bones evidence based allegations very differently.

eh? there is evidence via bank statements that he paid 35K to a 20 year old going back 3 years for explicit images, there is evidence he broke lockdown to meet a young guy, there is evidence verified from his phone that he threatened someone when they jokingly said they would expose him, how much more evidence do you need? there are also complaints from current staff and ex staff that he harrassed them .....

Liam spent alot of time in the HE thread talking about a witch hunt but he seems to condone and spread what is currently rumour because he doesnt like Wooton? why not wait for some verified facts about Wooton, not a Wooton fan think he is a bit smug and gossipy but I dont agree with what is happening to him as nothing has been proven so far

Personally I feel that a lot of the "evidence" from both cases are flimsy from what we know so far.

And in Huw Edwards case with the 20 year old we are talking about two consenting adults in that particular situation, the 20 year old could've told him to **** off.

Admittedly the threatening text messages are probably the best case against Huw Edwards.
