Me and my Brother both saw arguments breaking out on Twitter earlier to do with the new Suicide Squad Game that's come out.

Well a very famous character gets in a predicament, and let's just say that storyline is really controversial for the Game in general.

Basically someone in their attempt to defend the Game said this "I don't really question the quality of Video Games, I just want the next product after consuming the current product" and unfortunately they weren't joking because they would get defensive when people pulled them up on their take.

Honestly speaking I think that it has to be the most brain dead opinion that I have ever heard to do with any topic full stop, because I honestly don't understand the logic to this guy's opinion on any level.

Now don't get me wrong I understand that not everyone has the same standard as each other, but this guy openly admitting that he has no standards for what he is looking for in Video Games (and people like him) are the reason why we're seeing AAA Video Games and entertainment in general going downhill because they don't question the quality of anything, and they believe that you're being mean to the team that made the product if you give constructive criticism, which is just insane to me how so many people on the Internet are starting to think like that.

Now don't get me wrong I haven't played Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, but if people are giving out constructive feedback then the developers should be welcoming them into their community more than the section of the fans pretending that they loved everything about the Game, all because they don't want to upset the developers.

Some people unfortunately just love to hate other people for some reason.

Again and again, people who fidget too much. Just keep still for a minute. FFS.

Yup. And the thing is there’s enough genuine reason to dislike somebody without having to now give yourself the headache of hating on someone who hasn’t done anything bad to you personally for no reason. More muscles, it takes., to frown than smile. Blah-de-blah.

I just wouldn’t be wasting my energy like that. Not when you barely actually even know the person but just like to passively antagonise people you see as a bit beneath you. Me, I like people who are able to be and stay at least a little bit humble. Because it’s not even sharp moralising that drives a wedge between the person doing the judging and the ‘dislikee’. A lot of the time it’s just pure snootiness. And it’s okay to be a bit of a snob but not when you use it as a catalyst or front to judge people going about their lives who really haven’t done anything to you. Or they’ll (just people) use the one dodgy encounter they had with you years and years ago to keep hating on you even when every other person has very-much moved on. Bringing old news to the table just because you want to hate on someone and need a target or a reason.

Enabling, fly-monkeying. Call it whatever you like and by all means excuse yourself if only one person’s complained or expressed discomfort. Maybe just the once, even. But when so many people keep raising the same concerns but the back of the narcissist/toxic person is continually had (intentionally or indirectly), it’s a mazza. There comes a point where someone has to stand up and say no. Enough is enough, innit.

In certain spaces you do need to have thick skin but at the end of the day you’re not there to be abused unquestioningly or thrown under the bus, wherever it is. There are consequences, whoever you are or aren’t. And a bad person who’s used to getting away with stuff all the time because determining bodies and systems continue to make excuses for them and never have them face even a smidgen of accountability can test and challenge the patience of a saint. So if you do have the power to do something about it, … do something. And it can’t just be a Ken and Deidre do-something situation, either. Don’t be so blinded by and fixated on the book that you can’t see the hill from the trees and defend decent people but do defend the wrong people every single time. You’ve got to learn to deal with people rather than just the generic technicalities of the book that’s not in all of the right people’s favour. Down to and with the grit and in understanding and apt backing.

People in queues talking too much. We know the value of good chit-chat but it can’t be at the expense of someone else’s time. People have places to be and they might almost be running late as it is.

I say that as someone who likes to do that casual chit-chat. But when I do that I’m always looking at the queue at the back so I know I’m probably not wasting people’s time. I can be patient about a lot of things but when it comes to people wasting your time just because they want to talk, I haven’t got it.

All How Clean Is Your House? episodes from the first three seasons being voiced over in Polish between YT and DailyMotion. Seriously.

Why? Who asked for it?

To change the topic.

The thing that is annoying me at the moment is Japanese fiction getting really obsessed with Paedophilia.

I was reading a Yuri Hentai Manga a couple of nights ago (Lesbian Porn Comic basically) and I was reading a story where a Nurse was having sex with a High Schooler (I presumed that she was 18) but silly me, the Manga threw in dialogue where the Nurse goes "I wouldn't be touching a minor if I wasn't serious" or something along those lines, and it killed it stone dead for me, and it was a shame as I was 100% in it for the Nurse, but I just can't get around Paedophilia being literally celebrated in the dialogue.

I mean I can handle 99.99% of content in Hentai, but just don't throw Paedophilia out at me, but for some reason Anime, Manga and Hentai do seem to love that circuit a little too much for my taste.
Apparently being good in an emergency is a sign of autism now, including every paramedic and ER nurse/doctor (etc.) without fail. I think the lines are blurred between traits of different personality types (from the healthy and well-regulated to the more extreme) and what’s actually divergent from a neurodevelopmental point of view. “Highly sensitive female” is becoming code for a major reason why autism’s under-diagnosed in women and girls, and soon every quirk or just-plain trait under the sun is going to be considered on the spectrum.

Who is it who’s actually diagnosing all these people with autism, you’ve got to wonder?

People getting overly eager with the schedule. If you’re coming to do the window tomorrow but thought you’d get ahead of yourself and turn up today only to hang around for hours and hours, don’t think a text that might not get read until much later is warning enough. You can take your chances but it’s annoying when people don’t respect your time and other commitments. Being overly eager to be super-early is almost worse than being really late with it. And definitely more annoying.

You wait for the other person to okay it before you come knocking. You do not just barge up and disturb the peace just because you’re ahead of schedule and don’t know what else to do with your time.

Is there a psychiatrist in the house?

I ask because someone started irritating me.

I have known a guy who works in Iceland food store for years. When I say know, I mean I was aware of him stacking shelves and basically walking about the store. He's been there for at least 4 years. He's never said a word to me, or to anyone else. Always kept himself to himself.

However, something happened last week. He was on the till (which he's been on the till before and never said a word). But last week he said 'all right mate'. I looked around to see who he was talking to and it was ME. He kept on talking about the weather, food prices. You couldn't shut him up. I couldn't wait to get away.

Then yesterday I saw him talking to a customer. His mouth was going non stop. Then today he was stacking shelves and he said 'all right, mate' to me again. Talking non stop about the weather, his holidays. I thought WTF.

What the heck happened? Any mind doctors in? Explain.

Cheers.

Maybe he’s just come out of his shell. Maybe he’s becoming hypomanic and entering a phase (which could be down to quite a few things other than bipolar, including steroids). Maybe his boss threatened him with the sack if he failed to be more friendly and continued seeming aloof. Maybe he’s more talkative than you’ve encountered him being until recently.

Yeah you could be right. He might have been on medication that made him once quiet.

I am now going to avoid him.

Or maybe he’s on some substance/medication now that’s making him more outgoing, maybe even uncharacteristically so.

What’s your beef anyway? Why are you so creeped out by someone wearing a different social hat after a certain amount of time?

The guy is just being friendly from the sounds of it.

That sounds like good customer service imo.

Where Gusto’s coming from is the fact that he wasn’t like this at all for the last four years and why or how there’s been a sudden change in his customer-service attitude. It could be a mental health thing, it could just be him loosening himself out of his shell or it could be the fact that management have told him to be more engaging. Or it could be none of those things. We don’t know.

Orange juice with bits being marketed as “freshly squeezed”. Just call it for what it is and let people work out from there whether they want to spend money on it or not.

You do a favour for someone pre-license or maybe you drive but couldn’t that particular day/evening and they’re holding you by the time you get back to them.

“Why on Earth would you walk?”

Why on Earth didn’t you offer to pay my taxi fare? Won’t a skint brudda walk?

“Ger a taxi.”

Are you the one paying for it?

It’s the ads that bother me and I’m talking about me and myself alone. So shush.

People saying flavoured Starbucks coffees are for the youth. Coffee’s well-flavoured per tradition across the world (including Italy). Just say you like bland coffee.

It really is, Mock: I prefer Costa for the homeliness but in terms of variety Starbucks has it all. Caffè Nero third.
