Tbh it depends on the topic for me.

Politics I would say either Joey for his knowledge on the topic, or yourself LT because you tend to give alternative takes on a lot of political topics.

Psychological stuff I'd definitely say is where Redway is the winner imo, I feel like I understand the basics a bit better thanks to him.

Entertainment related topics I tend to look at Ammi, Niamh, and Vanessa, because they tend to be less swayed by things like Politics, and will tend to give a more objective take on the product, even if I personally don't always agree with their taste.

Conspiracy theories definitely goes to Alf, he questions things (even if it's unpopular in some circles to do so) and I personally admire that about him, even if I sometimes don't always agree with his conspiracy theory, he has definitely helped me be more on guard with what sometimes the Media or the Government might be lying about. Or just people in general being liars about something.

Friendship - I feel like that I'm friends with everyone on here to some degree, but I always feel like I get on exceptionally well with Joey, Kate, Cherie, Vanessa, Redway, Niamh, Dogeatdog, Kazanne (when she's on here,) Nicky, and LT.

There are members that I do like that I haven't named on any of these categories, but I'd be here all day trying to name everyone.

But I don't think that I dislike anyone on here anyway, I remember thinking someone that used to be on here more regularly displayed some questionable behaviour years ago, but I wouldn't say that I hate them nowadays, I just still think that they were a bit of an idiot.

But tbf, they probably think the same about me (especially back then) but as they were the adult in the conflict at the time, their behaviour was quite bad looking back on it.

Arista for the news.
LT for the weather…and smut.
Ammi for the common sense approach.

I’m glad you take something positive from my posts and messages (Kate, Mock). That’s ultimately what we all want. No-one’s blagging for people to desperately say something nice about them but it’s nice to be appreciated and acknowledged positively so … y’know. Thank you. It really does mean a lot.

To elaborate, I remember learning some of the names of the introverted and extroverted personality types thanks to the thread that you opened up.

Also you're really good at bringing up all sorts of Mental Health topics, and in a tasteful way where it doesn't feel like you're shoehorning it in just to look good, you seem to know what you're actually on about when it comes to the topic.

You also gave me a bit more of an understanding about different types of autism (along with Jessica Meuse's YouTube channel tbf) but you were definitely the first to get me interested in the topic about autism on the Internet.

And away from psychological topics, I do enjoy your irritation towards busy body gossips.

I often drop into TiBB because I know arista will have posted all the front pages.

No one's made me laugh out loud on here more than Trumpet. We must share a sense of humour, God help me...

Ammi and Anniek are the most decent people on here. Neeves alright I suppose for an old girl.

If I’ve learnt anything from TiBB at all it’s to not take any **** off anyone so I guess I’ve learnt something from the people I despise on here too.

Phew quite a question this is.
So apologies if this becomes one of my usual long responses.

In 14 years on here, there's so much I've learned from so many on here.
Some no longer with us, like Kerry, Lex and Pyramid.

Also some I don't connect with as before but never the less have been both educational and inspirational.
One is Livia, who was immensely supportive and gave me good ideas and advice on my career.
Whatever else, I've never forgot ALL of that.
Her knowledge and often times pushing me too was impressive.
Because sometimes I need to be prodded to get on with things.

Then there's Jack_ Josy, Marc and Nathan

I could make an endless list from over the years which would take hours .

So now I'll mention those more now and who I still learn more from.

Redway both confuses me and amazes me with his questions on issues.
They really challenge you to answer and I often find I question my answer so often don't say anything.
However on a range of issues how he's made me think is incredible.

There are people too, who once I see they've posted I have to read what they've said
Because they make me think and can change my mind at times too.

They are, AnnieK,bitontheslide, Cherie, just to name a few.
Arista, because I'd never see headlines of papers without him on here and although he and I don't always agree, I read and take on board his views
The same there with bots.

Then to the continuous inspirational ones I always listen to and have learned so much from on here.
There are 3 of them.

Mystic Mock, my absolute best friend on TIbb whose humour is infectious, and I'm.not a humerous person.
I love his analysis of even serious issues and his patience.
I've learned a lot there.

Ammi, whose posts I race to read, full of good thinking, compassion and often from a different angle
I am very often left in deep thinking after reading posts from Ammi.

Kazanne, oh now, my second friend on here when I joined, Mock was first and Kazanne second
Now Kazanne and I would fight like cat and dog on politics but on just about every other issues.
I learn so much.
I always wanted to be and reading all from Kazanne on the issue, I was guided from her posts and opinion to become a vegetarian.

There are others too and even those I disagree strongly with who have taught me something at times or made me think a little more on things.

I'm glad you take that from my posts/threads, Joey. And, again. It's good to be appreciated and acknowledged. And there's a way to hold space for the fact that it's gratifying to read things like that while knowing that none of it's coming from a place of desperately needing validation and enough nice comments to fish from other people. It's good to know people like your stuff and part of what you're about.

Thank you very much for that.
