Both have a certain something to offer but I think the 'Croft' wins the day.

Quality Street - I like the toffee pennies!

Staying with the Christmas theme:

"It's a Wonderful Life" or "Holiday Inn"

Got to be Morecambe and Wise - they are comedy geniuses and I love that sketch they did preparing breakfast to the stripper song!

Next choice:

Friends or Cold Feet

Rain, because after its over its over and it does not hang around for weeks and people do not through rain balls at you and you do not have to gawp at rude creations of rain men

OK

Feudal Undemocratic Monarchy based on accident of birth or a Decocratically elected presidency (along the lines of that of the Irish Republic)

Well....when i think about the USA and the presidents they have had of late I think I would prefer to stick with 'our' method. They really have no power of their own and are able to curb the extreme instincts of others. A way to avoid a 'power merchant' from having his/her own way !

Seaside holidays or countryside holidays

Seaside holidays!! Nothing beats a bit of sea air, some candyfloss and a beach hut.

Next ..... (getting a bit mad here!)

Raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens?

Whiskers on

As you can easily wash off the pet food from the all too eager moggie, whereas with the other one you have soggy chocolates

OK try this way

Feudalism or Democracy

DS9, best every Trek series imo. I liked the on-going storyline and the fact that all the problems of an episode weren't solved by being in a completely different place the next week like Voyager and other Trek shows.

As for Enterprise....

Next this and that:

Is the glass half full or half empty?
