Lol I kinda do but onloy because this is the most action this forum has had in ages!lol its been so boring lately!
I think we should all shamelessly admit to enjoying these pathetic arguments , mostly involving Callum. Your right , it makes the forum a tad more interesting.
I second that! I honestly love watching arguments on here! Some of the things people come out with is just so irritatingly ludicrous!
I third it.

Callum, you're taking the arguments wayy too far.
You can't really criticize people for rulebreaking when you have a few warnings yourself ey?

&I pretty much agree with Billy on most of things he said.

This thread's gone too far.

Proof? if he did, he's not the only one to do that though?
it's unfair to single out a soldier, in my eyes, their all equal.
Have you just asked for proof?

Brother, ask your brother to take his digicam next time he goes to war, perhaps take a video or just a quick snap if he's not looking too good.
Lol, funny!

Nah, you've got it wrong. You sign up to the army. You don't sign up to the war. You can't pick and choose what wars you fight in, you just get shipped out. But to someone who has a family member in the war or someone who has been (and I'm speaking from personal experience here) they are quite special, just as they would be to you if they weren't out there in the first place.

But I do agree no one soldier isn't special. If a war is won no one soldier did it. They work as a team and noone should be singled out.
But surely a soldier in this day and age knows what they are in for?

Also , forgive me for not being clear on this , but what are the penaltys for refusing to go to Iraq?
No because there are different areas you can sign up for and there are different places you can be shipped out to, not just Iraq and Afghanistan but other places aren't documented and aren't necessarily wars.

You don't really get a penalty, not that I know of anyway. You just get a dismissal order, can never sign back up and a certain stigma attached to your name that other soldiers who served fully look down upon which just basically means you are a soft ****. Nothing more than name calling really. Thats all that happened to someone I know anyway.
That sounds like a horrible culture to be honest. Its a sad fact that a lot of people stationed in Iraq have no idea what they are their for.

I knew you could be nasty but never as nasty as you are now...
Leave him alone. He's proud of his brother, just leave it at that. I'd love to see you over there. Wouldn't you want people to be proud and thankful of you?

Quite a lot of soldiers actually disagree with it, but only a few have the guts to walk out because a lot of people do actually like it when they aren't fighting pointless wars.

I agree with that. And if you have a brother (or any relative) out there, it's not just something you see on the news any more, and you obviously worry about your loved one out there. I'm sure Brother does think highly of the other soldiers, but his big brother in particular, because he is his big brother.

This has gone way, way too far. While I agree that sometimes Brother does talk about his brother on here a little too much, there's no need for some members to throw some of the things around that have been said tonight.

Especially some of the comments about his brother and his role in the Iraq war. Just put yourself in the position of Brother for a minute and imagine how you might feel if one of your family members was serving in the army in a war. If some members to have a huge issue with Brother then maybe it might be best for them to discuss it with him on MSN or U2U him.

This would minimize the disruption to the forum with all of this horrible talk, just think how you'd feel if you were in Brother's position, on the recieving end of these insults and nasty comments!

What right do you have to say he isn't?

For ****'s sake, he was just asking if anybody wanted to know anything, and as per usual, the petty TiBB brigade have to throw around their weight because it "doesn't concern them".

A lot of things on this forum don't concern me, or interest me, but if I ended up saying to everyone that started them "OMG NOBODY CARES" or words to that effect, this wouldn't exactly be a welcoming place.

And, shock horror, Callum's one of the main protagonists

You're all pathetic.
