I really can't wait for the film now! Seems so long away though, I'm definitely going to book tickets for the first day. Always do with the HP films.

Fans were also said to be unhappy at the removal of a number of supposedly important memory scenes involving Potter and the alleged mistreatment of the death of a major character.

A viewer at a US screening said: "The last third of this movie is so incredibly mishandled, the death feels more like an unfortunate accident than genuine tragedy."

Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince is released in the UK on July 17.

That article doesnt sound good... looks like they are doing what they have been doing to all the other recent films.

Yes, they are the only books I read
Hm I dunno why people so into the books like the films, the films ruin it for me, I mean I have seen all of them tonnes of times, but the films and the books aren't even the same for me, they are different stories, the books are so much more darker and mysterious.

They must of done a really bad job if this gets bad reviews because thinking about it... its the beginning of the war. Its where the best part of the story begins, and the story ends on such a cliffhanger... it should be amazing!

From what I've heard they've really skimped out on the fight and the ending. I can understand scaling down the fight as it can't overshadow the last part of DH but from what I've heard certain parts of the ending of HBP are really badly handled.

Hopefully though it's just overblown.

This is getting so old! America steal an earlier release yet again now it's out in every other country on July 15th and and UK on July 17th! its a british film for god's sake!
