UK & Irish Tour Announced
Arctic Monkeys are pleased to announce a UK & Irish tour in November 2009. This is the band's first UK tour since December 2007, and will see the band playing tracks from their 3rd album, 'Humbug' as well as their two previous LP's. The band shall be joined by special guests, Eagles of Death Metal. Tickets will be priced at Ł29.50. There will be an exclusive pre-sale to members of the Arctic Monkeys website that will begin at 9am on Wednesday 9th September 2009. To access the box office for pre-sale tickets, you will need a registered Username/Password from the Arctic Monkeys website, which can be obtained here: http://www.arcticmonkeys.com/register.php Registration will close at 8pm on Tuesday 8th September. Users registering after this time, will not be able to access the pre-sale area. At first listen of Crying Lightning, I didn't like it, sounded like they went all snobby, few plays later I realise he's talking about eating "the last of your pic n mix". Same old arctics just sounds a lot darker......... can't criticise Alex though, the man has had 4 albums debut at number 1 in 4 years, I don't think there's many who have done that, if any???? |

They've just come back from Australia, then headlined Reading. They're off to the USA now and more European shows, I only posted about the UK and Ireland shows because they have the most relevance.... Oh and maybe China or Japan shows aswell not sure....

Like the last concert in Malahide in 07, bought them at xmas had to wait until June, never thought I'd see them..... I just want to hear 5 songs then i'll be happy for another album next year....  :b igsmile:

3 new ones 2 oldies, well 3 oldies... I Bet You Look Good On The Danceflor When The Sun Goes Down Brianstorm Crying Lightning Pretty Visitors Red Right Hand (Nick Cave cover, the song from Scream 1) Well maybe 2 albums next year, Alex will have a new one with The Last Shadow Puppets, then an Arctic Monkeys album at Xmas 2010, plus he has 2 new bands on the go... Then Matt Helders (drummer) has his second Dj-ing album out plus he has a new band... James Cook has a new band too....These guys are unstoppable...... : thumbs2:
