Both Wendell and Domenick were so confident I think they were there to be blindsided this season. Confidence in some hands can be interesting but I never thought they had much charisma.

I agree with the above poster, I can't stand it when people play for third place, like Angela obviously was by telling Domenick about the plan to get him out, I mean Laurel was playing for third place too, and she did, but Laurel couldn't take a shot.

Taking personal feelings aside, I really feel like Domenick deserved to win... As soon as it was announced as a tie, with Laurel getting the deciding vote, I bet Dom was pissed that he didn't get rid of her...

I don't like the ending of this show AT ALL though, even though it's my first season, I was surprised that after the high production value of the season, that it ended in a cheap tacky studio with Jeff being really cringy bringing out previous players to further humiliate them and then Kevin Hart to promote CBS' new show. Oh well, I'll start watching pervious seasons now.

Dalton Ross: I think you know I have not personally been a fan of the final four fire-making contest, but I also firmly agree that you all need to try new things out to see if they work (like that new final Tribal Council format we just got into). Now that you’ve seen the final four fire-making play out twice, is this something that is here to stay or will you all be going back to the traditional final four vote for season 37?


Jeff Probst: It’s here to stay. We do have back ups in case of bad weather, but this is a tiebreaker that we feel is appropriate. It works on a thematic level — “fire represents your life” — and it also speaks to the community element of the game. Fire is the single most important thing at camp. Everybody has the same opportunity to try and make fire. And furthermore, if you don’t ever contribute to trying to make fire, are you really doing your part? Shouldn’t everybody know how to make fire? So until we think of a better and equally fair tie-breaker, this is it.

Fire making challenges are GREAT when they occur naturally through a deadlocked F4 vote, as in there is no other alternative. Forcing two people who've spent 38 days building social relationships to have their fate be determined by a challenge takes away from the whole essence of what the show is about

Let’s talk about that final Tribal. You took Domenick to task for making a big stink at that first one and sort of twisting the knife with his big display, but you also at the same time admitted, “Hey, it worked.” It got you off your plan to take him out. So tell me how that whole display by Dom sits with you now.
Well, I love Dom as a human and I always will, but he was literally bullying the hell out of Donathan. He was calling him names. At one point, he took his idol out of the bag, both his fake idol and his real idol, and asked Donathan in the most obnoxious way, “Which one should I play, eh?” Just completely a douchebag, and he would not stop, and Donathan was being polite to him. You don’t have to do that, even though if it’s all an act for the million dollars, which almost worked for him. It just pushed me off on the wrong end of the stick for him. For two or three days, actually probably a month, I couldn’t stand even the thought of Dom.

Wow, really. So it was that strong?
Yeah, every night when I went to sleep, it was Dom’s Clooney face in my thoughts, just bossin’ people around, so he kind of haunted me in a ghostly fashion.
