I knew this would happen with schools, literally less than 4 weeks ago the clamour was SCHOOLS MUST CLOSE...BLAH BLAH BLAH

now we are back to SCHOOLS MUST OPEN

we cant have it all, we have to drive infection down and if that means keeping schools closed so be it

I also think only those in exam years should return initially and only then on a week on/week off basis

But Cherie, if they have a week off they're supposed to self isolate for 14 days so then what?

You have to self isolate because it's one of the main 3 covid symptoms, duh.

Fever, week off, or loss of taste & smell.

what's that got to do with going back to school on a week on/week off basis?

why can't classes be streamed out live or recorded to view later?

No one should go back to school with a week off, we've known this since last March.

what are you banging on about, I am talking about exams year kids taking it in turns to go in on a weekly basis to reduce the class sizes

obviously they should follow self isolation rules if they get pinged

[The PM is holding a No10 press conference at 5pm to mark
the day that the ONS have said 100,000 have died
with Covid-19 on their death certificate.
Will the Government's own count also hit the same grim figure today too?]
