Yeah objectively Beyonce and Gaga are phenomenal singers, great dancers, they put a lot into their careers and are obviously well loved and respected as a result. And yet despite all of that... despite being leagues ahead of Britney in terms of vocal abilities, Britney just has that special something about her that you can't learn or teach, it's just that (cliche coming up) x factor that some people are born with that makes them stand out head and shoulders above the rest. She was such an engaging performer to watch, her voice is so instantly recognisable the second she opens her mouth to sing (well, lip sync nowadays) and everything. I mean I'm not a gigantic fan of her by any means but in terms of this, for me she's the clear winner.

You can't just call Gaga pretentious (which she totally is, soz Smithy) and then act like Beyonce isn't the most perfectly manicured to the point of obsessive compulsive passive aggressive scary Stepford Wives-esque PR relations; that's just as mental as Gaga IMO
