The thing about the McDonalds boycott is that this can happen in any city or town so any family anywhere can be abused for going for a burger, its not something that will be confined to London and can cause issues anywhere even from high perches in Scotland

That's not even close to the point and at no point did I say they were "equal" - I said that if you encourage and celebrate hive-think and "mob justice" on the one hand it's hard to take it seriously when you turn around and condemn it on the other, when the focus no longer suits.
