I'd liked to have seen them deal with Sylvie's condition right up until her death for a long running story. But with Emmerdale doing Ashley's dementia story, they're never going to beat that one so far.

They could've explored her and the whole story more. Especially since they used Sylvie as a plot device in Tina and Sonia's boring relationship.

But they seem to just use her as a general nuisance.

I miss when she was a nice confused old lady until Shirley would enter the room and she would spit venom at her.

I miss the Sylvie who was just confused and went for Shirley too, I know dementia doesn't work like that and I guess the progression is quite honest but she's not a character I care about to invest in.

I'm still fuming Belinda is gone - she added more than half the cast remaining!
