12 year old in court, not a parent in sight, one on their jollies in Ibiza.

Stick them in jail not the kid.

And people wonder why there's a double standards , I don't care people's politics beliefs or background...but if both send death threats then surely both should face the same punishment/ consequences... like why is that so hard for this tone deaf government to comprehend .

Exactly. The least we should be able to expect is even handedness.

Loads of these "rioters" need released immediately. Rhe ridiculousness of at all is absurd

You have kids throwing stones at police with their massive riot shields. Many caught up in the spur of the moment, enraged by the events that caused all of it to transpire. Its ridiculous when you have as many officers being attacked at notting hill, by people with no grudges, people at a carnival, full of enjoyment. Attacking police, stabbing fellow carnival goers, sexually assaulting women all snuck under the carpet by Kahn and the labour government, quietly hoping it all just becomes a forgotten memory until next year.

Poor old isa, the bin pusher of leeds, sat remorseful wearing her porridge, as her time passes by slowly towards the next carnival she has to be humiliated by. Sitting crying in her cell, sent there by a government hellbent on coming down hard on anything more right than themselves, just to prove a point that behaviour like that wont be tolerated. Or at least not from enraged white people.

We wont see anymore riots, what we will see next year is more stabbings at notting hill, more sexuall assaults, and more attacks on the police that dont have riot shields.

Ooo dont push me.....

Former soldier Peter Beard, 43, was sentenced to two-and-a-half years after pushing aggressively at police as they tried to protect a hotel housing asylum seekers. The judge called his case "astonishing"

The Metropolitan Police “didn’t get everything right” and could have made arrests sooner when policing recent large-sale protests, the force’s assistant commissioner has said.

Matt Twist, who is responsible for protest and public order policing across London, also said the force used an “infinite number of tiers of policing” in response to criticisms of the Met adopting a ‘two-tier’ stance.

In an interview with think tank Policy Exchange in May, Matt Twist said: “When we look back at the policing of protests over the last eight months, we know we didn’t get everything right – particularly in the early stages in October.

“On occasion we did not move quickly to make arrests, for example the man chanting for ‘Jihad’ which was a decision made following fast time advice from lawyers and the CPS.

“We are now much more focused on identifying reasonable grounds for arrest, acting where needed, and then investigating, so in these circumstances its very likely arrests would be made more quickly now.”

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/m...-b1180819.html

Nice to see them admitting what we could all see with our own eyes, although this interview was last May and is only surfacing now?

So it was true that they didn't have two tiers - but many more!
