Gaga: 'I'm Obsessed with Sex and Death'

Lady GaGa has said that she is obsessed with "death and sex".

The popstar is to re-release her debut album The Fame with extra horror-inspired songs.

Lady GaGa told The Daily Star: "My re-release is called The Fame Monster so I've just been sort of bulimically eating and regurgitating monster movies and all things scary.

"I've just been noticing a resurgence of this idea of monster, of fantasy, but in a very real way. If you notice in those films, there's always a juxtaposition of sex with death."

She added: "That's what makes it so scary. Body and mind are primed for orgasm and instead somebody gets killed. That's the sort of sick, twisted psychological circumstance."

Cascada Star Eyes Lady Gaga Duet

Cascada star Natalie Horler has announced that she would like to record a duet with Lady GaGa in the future.

The 27-year-old singer suggested that they should team up for chart success rather than being perceived as rivals in the years ahead.

Speaking to Orange Music, Horler explained: "There are loads of people you'd want to collaborate with. If we're talking dance then Lady GaGa would be a lot of fun and I think [we] would mesh really well."

Discussing her other ambitions, she revealed: "I would love to just carry on, be happy and just earn my money with music as long as possible."

Horler recently dismissed suggestions that her new single 'Evacuate The Dancefloor' "rips off" GaGa's music style.

She told DS: "We started the album about a year ago and 'Evacuate' was one of the first songs that we recorded when Lady GaGa wasn't even around."

Hi, Im back !! Feels like ages since ive been on, but its only been 3 days :z

Gaga was brilliant on Saturday, although i couldnt get anywhere near the front
She sung Just dance, Lovegame, Paparazzi, loads of build up to Pokerface and a Queen song

She changed outfit 3 times, and the last of which was a sequence thong, connected up the sides to a very very thin sequence bra. She got ALOT of wolf wistles. lol

I could see her crystal clear but these were the best pics i took on my crappy 3mp phone, and zoomed WAY in lol:

Lady Gaga Gig for Charity Workers

Lady GaGa is due to perform an exclusive concert for thousands of young charity work volunteers.

The flamboyant New York pop star will join British groups The Enemy and N-Dubz at the Orange RockCorps gig at Manchester Apollo.

Lady GaGa becomes just the third artist in the 16-year history of the Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart to collect three No. 1 songs from a debut album. “LoveGame” (Interscope) rises 2-1, marking Lady GaGa’s third No. 1, following “Just Dance” (two weeks) and “Poker Face” (five weeks). The three songs appear on her top five Billboard 200 album, “The Fame.” The set has sold 1,162,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The singer-songwriter born Stefani Germanotta joins just two prior artists in accomplishing the triumphant triple play.

In 1993-94, Ace Of Base reigned consecutively on Mainstream Top 40 with three cuts from its debut set “The Sign”: “All That She Wants,” the title cut (No. 1 for a chart-record 14 weeks) and “Don’t Turn Around.”

In 2002-03, Avril Lavigne repeated the feat with a trio of tracks from her debut release “Let Go”: “Complicated” (eight weeks), “Sk8er Boi” (one week) and “I’m With You” (four weeks).

On the Billboard Hot 100, “Just Dance” spent three weeks at No. 1, and “Poker Face” led for one frame. As of last week, “LoveGame” was bulleted at No. 5 on the Hot 100, its highest ranking to date.

Gary Go: Lady Gaga is a “True Artist”

Gary Go has insisted Lady GaGa is one of the few “real artists” in the music business.

The singer-songwriter is going on tour with the eccentric pop star after they hit it off on their first meeting at London’s Koko club.

“We first met at Koko when we were doing a show together, a TV show, and she’s really cool – we were just chatting and we got along straight away,” said Gary.

He continued: “The thing about GaGa is some people get it, some people they can’t seem to get it. I think that’s the mark of a great artist really.

“It’s the real deal – a real artist with something to say and a way of saying it so I’ve found her fascinating to watch. I think she’s an artist, she’s expressing herself in front of the audience.

“That’s what it’s supposed to be, it’s supposed to be live, it’s supposed to be ‘wow this could go anywhere’. She might totally lose it on stage. Anything could happen. That’s the mark of a great artist – it’s a live experience.”

Any romance between the pally pair is unlikely, said Gary, though he admitted he was disappointed at not having much time for romance.

“I don’t think so – but you never know,” he teased. “Like I say I’m a big fan of hers, but I’m concentrating on my career at the moment.”

Asked if he had any current love in his life, he moaned: “No – not at all. I’m hugely disappointed by that. I haven’t really been hanging out very much, that’s the thing, I’ve been busy doing shows.”

I'm sorry but those comparisons are just funny. Particularly the shoulder pads one, I'm pretty sure GaGa isnt the first one to ever wear shoulder pads in a music video. And I think the headphone things i related to a company. Mark mentioned about Diva being filmed earlier and the Ciara collar is nothing like the GaGa one. The glasses thing is stupid too, the Work video is set on a construction site. But then again whoever wrote them can't even spell so I don't place a whole lot in their observational skills.
