We did it the first year Jedward entered for us and we did better than we had in years, we choose them cos we liked them and they made us smile and it worked pretty well
Well Ireland actually did ok in the televoting last year, they finished 14th with the public. But it was the juries that marked it down :/

After watching the rehearsals, it's actually really good that she's on last. Denmark are on straight before the Netherlands, and I don't think the crowd noise will have died down by the time they start performing, since there will be some buzz around the arena. Netherlands is a song that requires total silence in order for it to sound blissful and make an impact, so that might not happen. And Molly is on straight after 2 slow songs, and the televoting history for the last performing acts in recent is quite good tbh, but there's never really been a favourite put on last before, so Molly could potentially have the 'X Factor effect' where she tops the votes for being the one most memorable (due to being on last)

The jury performance is tonight, that was the dress rehearsal before the jury performance. Molly got the biggest crowd reaction in the rehearsals apparently, and I don't think she's losing her voice at all... you must be watching something else :/

Apparently, just before the voting opens or just after the votes have been opened, Graham Norton is featured in a VT sharing jokes with the presenters for roughly one minute after the song, so the UK’s entry is effectively 4-minutes long!

Apparently Graham is quite well-known in Europe and in the States too!

Yeah, Graham is much loved, I remember people LOVING his comment about Lena last year when she was like 'we're having so much fun' and Graham was all 'Speak for yourself Lena' because we flopped again

I'm not taking these rehearsals into account either. Greece was one of my favourites going into their semi and they were just weak as **** and it didn't work.

I just can't stop singing the Netherlands 'Calm after the storm',also Malta's too.
I think this is going to be a strong Eurovision this year. Some really memorable songs.

I think the reason it's so exciting this year is because it's really hard to call who'll win it whereas all the other years have been predictable.

Oh and Malta & Netherlands are on right before/after Denmark, plus their song style is a bit similiar, so that might not bode well. I'd rather Netherlands win over Sweden though.

26th is a brilliant placing. I see us doing well, top 10 at very least.

Rooting for Malta too, my second home. Even though their song is frighteningly similar to Gary Barlow "Let Me Go"...

And yeah, it definitely helps there isn't a 'Loreen' or 'Emmellie' this year, who had their victories sewn up and it was a case of 'oooh who will finish in the other places'

About 5/6 acts could genuinely take the victory tomorrow night, the only favourites I'd rule out now are Ukraine (early slot has just ****ED Maria in the arse, she can't do anything with it) and Armenia (got shown to be ridiculously overrated on Tuesday night, and 7th isn't an amazing draw)

She's been 80/1 and around 16th favourite to win, but I think those don't do her justice, I definitely see her coming top 10 if she delivers solid vocals, I think she's just been ignored with the semi finals occurring and Molly taking the most limelight when it comes to the big 5! Her song is really fantastic.
