Anyone else disliking the Manchester United transfer policy post Fergie? One of the things that Fergie was always very good at as a manager was the way in which he was able to spot young talent with potential and then fine tune them into the finished article. These days though it just seems to be more of a quick fix, splash the cash approach with more emphasis placed on player brand rather then potential skill. I couldn't for example have seen Fergie spending that kind of money on Mata or giving up on Zaha so early.

It's not really a quick fix. Shaw is 18, Herrera is 24 but was bought on potential. Rojo is also young. None of the signings this summer are quick fixes. We just haven't bought wisely.

I just can't believe how bad we have let the situation get. We could have had Vidal but were to mean to pay the asking price. The way we are run as a club is a joke. Wake me up in May

This season is on course to be worse than the last. Don't want Welbeck to go. He offered pace on tour which this team lacks. Would much prefer to see him play alongside one of Rooney or RVP. All the injuries, lack of signings and Danny going. All three signings unavailable to play as well... FML.
