There's next to no possibility of Trump becoming president with the way the electoral college is set up. The math isn't there for him. The US is safe.

Barely anyone thought the Brexit would actually happen either. I think it proves the anti-immigrant anti-establishment movement is bigger than expected which will help Trump

No. You have to crunch the numbers and learn how it works. It's a bit complicated. He's at an extreme disadvantage. It's not a popular vote. Clinton is also beating him by 10 points now nationally. His negatives are at 70%. He's not going to get Florida. You can't win in America by winning just white voters. It's impossible.

Donald Trump Favorable: 29%, Unfavorable: 70%

Whites (39/59)
Blacks (4/94)
Hispanics (11/89)
Non-White Other (12/88)

Clinton has $43 million dollars in cash on hand. Trump has just $1.3. The ads she's running on a loop are killing him.

Quinnipiac:

Florida: Clinton 47%, Trump 39% (Clinton +8)
Ohio: Clinton 41%, Trump 41% (Even)
Pennsylvania: Clinton 42%, Trump 41% (Clinton +1)

There is no way forward for Donald Trump if he's that far behind in Florida; he could win New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, North Carolina, AND Colorado, and still lose the election by 12 Electoral Votes.

His own party wants to drop him. His staff is leaving in droves. Republicans are coming out and supporting Hillary. He can't even find anyone other than Chris Christie to be his VP. It's over. Even he knows. He's already launching his own television network, TrumpTV. He's got a new gig already lined up. He's going on trial soon for fraud though, not to mention the rape lawsuit that was just filed against him.

Speak for yourself please, I am far from bitter, just massively disillusioned and disappointed with my Country.

Laugh your sarcastic way all you like but it's hardly the greatest contribution on a serious thread.

If you think it funny that a company may be moving jobs out of the UK to mainland Europe, that's far from anything to laugh at.

The NHS isn't going to see a penny of this money and I've been baffled as to why the Leave campaign kept using it as a reason to leave, as if this government has any interest whatsoever in spending it on the things which need it the most, namely the health service, the education system and housing. They don't, it'll disappear into the pockets of the minority and we'll be no better off for it - and they won't even have as many restrictions on what policies they can impose on said electorate since we'll no longer have the protections the EU afforded us

The hard line Tories waiting in the wings of power must be frothing at the mouth about what they'll soon be able to do to the working people of Britain
First of all Jack, over 63% of the British Electorate did NOT vote the Tories into power a year ago.

Secondly, I do believe that the majority of the electorate do care about the NHS, and my belief is bolstered by the fact that the working classes and the disenfranchised are in the majority in this country, therefore THEY make up most of that 63% who did not vote Tory, and being working class or disenfranchised, THEY are also the ones who most need and use the NHS.

Making a statement that the above majority are "far too concerned with the 'effects' of immigration rather than what the actual causes of NHS failures are - underfunding" is frankly ludicrous, contrary to the huge public concerns about the NHS, and cannot be substantiated, and is, therefore, mere opinion, which is no more valid than anyone else's which may oppose what you claim.

As for: "The NHS isn't going to see a penny of this money" - in the very post which you are responding to, I outlined just how WE the public must collectively FORCE the Government to utilise this money for the NHS and other ailing, cash-starved services.

The Government are NOT going to freely elect to allocate these sums to the NHS and other services, but they CAN be forced to, by 'people power' - EXACTLY as we forced another Government to do a U Turn over The Poll Tax.

I'm afraid that when it comes to your other point - about 'EU Protections' - we must agree to disagree, because my years of exhaustive research into the EU, persuades me that, far from protecting the NHS, the EU -- in league with the USA -- were fully intent on privatising the best elements of the NHS, and dismantling the rest, and all via the TTIP agreement that both have been actively, if covertly working towards for years.

Too true Arista, but eliciting the usual, hysterical reaction from some embittered 'Remain' campaigners nonetheless.

So just because some European countries have worse LGBT rights than the UK, that justifies it?

What about all the countries outside of the EU who have poor LGBT rights
