Just thought. Yet another double so another need for them to create silly cliffhangers to bridge the two episodes. It would be better as three hour long episodes.

Monday and Friday are already jammed with fake reveals and silly endings to justify "cliffhangers".

People laud him as such a well rounded and written character but he's literally one of the worst villains in the show's history.

The Andy stuff would be great if it stemmed from a great plot, but it doesn't.

He would be if Will hadn't come along. He is so paper thin as a character. We don't know him, he hasn't got a motive, he's boring as hell and the acting isn't that great either, though it's not like he's got a huge amount to work with

Honestly I know it's a soap but for goodness sake the Phelan nonsense has gone on way too long.

First he gets away seemingly scot free with ripping off 15k from a good number of the locals.
Then he has Andy imprisoned,chained up.

How on earth is all that even plausible, it insulting to have to watch.
He's hardly with Andy,for months Andy has been stuck there, what on earth does he do as to natural needs of toilet etc.

Absolutely stupid.

Corrie has dealt with many issues and had some great moments but Phelan getting his comeuppance is not just overdue it's total farce.
