NYT has been tilting Georgia to Biden ever-so-slightly for most of the day (since mid morning) and it hasn't wavered yet... I can only assume this is based on potential mail-ins.

of the other "undeclared ones" I assume Maine and Nevada are safe blues and NC, Alaska are safe reds.

if the margin of a vote is within 1% the candidate can request a recount, it is not mandatory .... that is the rule

tbf to Nicky, Maine was never seriously up for contention and even if it was, 4 college votes isn't a huge deal (same goes for Alaska, which I believe has just the 3 to be confirmed... for Trump...)

Were they saying it would be a landslide, or that's what the polls suggested? If the latter, then the polls always have some wiggle-room, regardless of what the polls said I don't think anyone reasonably thought it would be a landslide.

And I used the word reasonable on purpose, as that seldom applies to the mainstream media
