It wasn't a sudden or unfair decision, we all discussed it in Tibb Towers and decided it was the best course of action as he was bringing Tibb down and generally making our jobs more difficult then it needs to be. That and he had previous.

He deserved a warning Dezzy. That's all I'm saying here. The reality is that if he were the type of member that you viewed him as he'd probably get banned anyway afterwards.

He was warned repeatedly, he was never going to change. I often talked to him via PM after bans and such to explain why and such but he was a career troll. It was all ultimately pointless.

We don't permaban often or lightly, If we thought he would improve he wouldn't have been banned. We gave him tons of chances, other forums would have banned him a lot quicker then we did.

That's fair enough Dezzy - all I'm saying is that a final warning would have saved all of this hassle, right? Anyway, I've already been given an infraction over nothing so I think I should stop conversing here.

I'm still amazed he lasted as long as he did, to be honest. Anywhere else and he would've been banned instantly.

It was fairly obvious he was a career troll all along, surely? And people didn't really believe any of his crap, did they...?

Also can I just add, Thomas had racked up an insane amount of infractions in the short time I've been a Mod, im pretty sure he didnt expect to be round this long, I mean he baited people every night and then reported them...

I'm not denying any of this. My only problem is that he deserved a final warning, especially when you consider that so many of us added to his threads, you know? That's all I'm saying. I would defend any member in the same position.

Yeah but we were in the middle of checking him out when he got banned like....so we hadn't got any proof if him trolling other boards...

He was clearly a troll. on any other forum he would have been banned straight up, regardless of whether or not he broke specific rules.
