Wow, TD's popularity is rapidly falling like a stone. Last year iirc he was no 1 on heat mag's sexiest male poll getting about a wopping 75% of the top 10. This year he's not even in top 5. Interestingly enough he came out about a week after the poll opened so he was very high profile in media.

He has also dropped out of other teen girl / women polls top 10 sexiest male list after being ranked 2nd in several polls the previous year. Wonder how his slide in popularity will affect his sponsorships.

Nope, in Olympic year he was about 3rd on most polls. The rest of the poll is occupied by the same usual suspects as the previous years: David Beckham, Ryan Gosling, Harry 1D, Liam Hamsworth (goes up list) and Bradley Cooper. Coming out has probably had a detrimental effect on his tween girl popularity, which is essentially where his marketing and money is. He seems very popular with gays, but the pink pound is much less significant a market.
