Argh I didn't mean it like that!
But you've got to admit people have done in the past, and it's only natural, but I've always admired people who stick up for their friends and who try to see two sides to every argument.
Which is why I've always tried to be like that.

And I realise now that you actually are argumentative, I just refused to see it because I was too busy sticking up for you!

Okay.

Jake - yes, I can understand how it would annoy you if people sterotyped all Australians because of one man. However, it's not Steve Irwin's fault if people are too stupid to realise that one man does not represent a whole country.

Legend - it's inaccurate to say "nobody can argue with me" because that's precisely what some people are doing - myself included.

What I don't understand is - it's one thing to dislike someone. There are people I dislike too, and that's human nature. It's quite another to gloat about the fact that they are dead.

If he's willing to put himself in danger then i couldn't care less really. Now when someone dies of cancer or something like that, then i will have sympathy for them.

I have sympathy for his family obviously but he had young kids and he still went out doing a life threatening job? Well that just proves that he's a really selfish man and he has brought his death on himself. No sympathy for the man, i feel sorry for his kids for having such a selfish dad who's willing to risk is life for a stupid t.v programme when he has younger kids.

Don't rest in piece Steve Irwin, because i'm sure your family won't be in peace for a long time, selfish fool.
How can you even say that?
He had a job- And thats what he had to. Is your heart made from stone?
Sure, the job he did was dangerous, but nobody, not even you, Has the right to say he shouldnt rest in peace.

Ok, I have to stress IMO I could never imagine that anyone would gloat about the death of a person, and I did NOT think that Jake was doing that (and still don't), otherwise obviously I wouldn't have stuck up for him.

Also, I think Legend made a very good point, and no one DID argue with him (unless I'm being ignorant again), you haven't (yet).

Another thing. I am not stupid, but I honestly thought Australians said stuff like "g'day mate". I just did. It was just one of those things, and yes it was fuelled by him, and other TV programs based in Australia.

Jakey, I only said those things, because you WERE joking about the death saying 'i thought a croc wouldve taken him' or something.

But if you had made your point that it wasnt offensive, I would have stopped.

Yeah, I know you didn't need it, but that didn't stop me for giving my opinion of you when needed.

And OMG who said I called you names? If I did, it might have been when I was in a bad mood, drunken state, ermm...right after arguing with you, but if so I apologise. When I was really close to you a few weeks ago, I never would've said a bad word against you.

Because, I dont think what people are saying is very nice.
Location means nothing to me, hes a human being.
I dont feel just because hes dead, he should be forgotten

OK, well I've already explained myself regarding that, so I hope you believe me.

I'm not the type of person to go round calling people names really, unless they really wind me up which you never did do over the last few weeks.

Legend - you say that you hope he doesn't rest in peace, because he did not think of his two children. Do you think that saying things like that would be any comfort to those two children? I don't.
