i'm not 'in the loop' with all the goings on on this site and have no idea what all this drama is that you guys are going on about but if c&g is being used inappropriately by banned members then i don't see why privatising it would be a problem...

In reply to the question, I'd say yes, mainly because the new members probably wouldn't even notice they can't access the c&g until they reach 10+ posts or w/e it will be because as most say, the newbies generally post in the bb forums before even discovering c&g so it wouldn't affect their experience and helps to put other members minds at ease if they are sharing photos on the forum.

I can see the other side of the argument, but I think this place would be a much happier/trusting forum if something like this was put into place.

Even if the posting limit to reach the C&G area was 500 I wouldn't feel trusting enough to start posting pictures. I think it's a bit laughable to pretend Salman or any other banned member are the only people capable of saving pictures or start being sneaky.

But I'll go with it, we all know that people who are still on the forum contacted Mollie/Mikes real family and tried to find Munchkins. Nothing stopping anyone here dropping anyone elses pics into google image search and finding my profile if I decided to post my real pictures and posting old pictures of me when I was heavier, that would be my actual worry more than anything but obviously you're willing to pull up old stuff to support what you wan't to happen on forum.

It's not about being that trusting. Obviously it's at people's own risk to start posting pictures.

It's not going to 100% eliminate all problems for the future but it can quite easily nip the current multis in the bud.
