1.4 million for Friday is insane that one figure for who watched on catch up is alone more viewers than the whole average for the first 2 series

Sorry, Love Island is amazing right now and deserves its success but it is nowhere NEAR the likes of golden era BBUK on Channel 4...! But tbh, BB had much higher peaks back then like 7 million for a launch or 6 million for evictions, while also carrying on for 90 days and getting very little catch up viewers back then... so the success is still very different

Love Island set a new record last night with 3.2 million viewers, it beat Good Evening Britain which had 2.9 million after having a 20 million lead in from the football! Piers Morgan must be chuffed today
