Today was Serah's funeral.
Serah died 2 weeks ago from an irregular heartbeat  She was 20 and one of the nicest girls you would ever know. I never met her, but I spoke to her online, as did lots of people. I'm so excited for the new album!! It will be out beginning of next year :3
At the moment, the guys are having a quick holiday... Tom is in Paris with Giovanna, his girlfriend.. Danny is in Cyprus with his mum... Dougie is in London dog sitting everyones pets, as Frankie is in the USA (I think)... Danny invited him over to Cyprus for the week, but he said he couldn't because he had McFly meetings about the 2 secret surprises! and Harry is about, he doesn't tweet very often... every so often one of the McFly friends/family will say Harry and Izzy (his girlfriend, from Escala) came over for dinner today, or something! -- Dougie was on twitter at like 3am the other morning, he was too excited for the meetings to sleep! Haha! :') I felt like randomly writing this btw :3 |

They've been pretty busy tbh... March time, they wrote the music for the new album in Australia.. April / May was UK tour End of May / June - South American tour 3 UK dates in June too July they've been making the album and sorting out all their little surprises they're keeping a secret >.< which is annoying! We realllyy wanna know! They all talk about it them alot! Now they're having a quick break, well deserved imo! Then, doing more work on the album till next month, Western European tour, album finishing touches I suspect, bit of promoting, Christmas, a few singles, album > GOOD TIMES! Haha! Xx |

New interview -

This is the first one, the blue - McFly They don’t come from the future, they also don’t come from the past, they come straight from London. There they have conquered millions of hearts and they want to conquer yours too. If you still don’t have the pleasure of knowing them, we have them here all for you. It all started when Tom wanted to start in new music projects. Even though some of his previous tries failed, his persistence inspired him to start his own band. From that moment on, Tom began writing songs and forming a new phenomenon: McFly. As you imagined, the band’s name comes from the last name of the protagonist in the movie Back to the Future. Since 1 April, these four Englishmen started out to our country. Even though this band is widely popular in their native country, they are pretty new here in Mexico, however we can assure you that no matter where you are or where you live; they will equally drive you crazy. Band Members: Tom Fletcher (singer and guitarist) Harry Mark Christopher Judd, nick named: Juddy Harold (drums) Dougie Poynter (bass) Danny Jones (singer and guitarist) How did you feel playing for the first time in Mexico? How did it go? It was huge, the Aztec Stadium is huge; it was the biggest crowd we ever played for, we got very emotional. It was definitely a fun experience for the audience and for us. Even though it wasn’t our concert, we will be coming back in June so we can get to know our fans better. These boys have accumulated success after success. At the moment their history is filled with gold and platinum discs, and long weeks in the number one spot on the popular music list. What did you like most about our country, McFly? The food is good and the climate is amazing; we are getting quite bronzed. Every time we see the sun, we love to go in and get toasted. You see them as four very cute boys but they are much more than that, they have a lot of personality to be able to rock it out on stage. But don’t let them fool you, they are very much heartbreakers with their cute looks, they have admitted to us that they have more than 5 girlfriends, wives, and friends that are girls and they’re still looking! We know you think they’re perfect but we asked each of them what it was that they liked least about themselves; here are their answers. Tom and Danny: “Our ears are smelly.” Harry: “I have “fish?” in my fingers. I don’t like them one bit.” Dougie: “I don’t like my face; I think my nose is too big.” Their recent album, Radio:ACTIVE was release at the end of last year, but has not yet been released in Mexico. They easily talk about what they have accomplished in the album. “We like this record because it has strong, emotional songs that people can relate to. It’s our best album. There are happy songs and sad songs.” So now you know what waits for you if you join the thousands of fans who adore McFly, who even at their young age (the boys are between 21-23) have the attitude to not be stopped for nothing; plus they plan to grow old together so we’ll have McFly around for a long time. Need more reasons to adore them? You can wait for their latest album which is said to be released soon. Plus they have promised that they will be back soon to conquer more Mexican fans. Let’s get to know them! Did you know you had fans in Mexico? Tom: “We knew we had some, mostly through the internet, on MySpace and places like that… When we checked our messages we noticed that they wrote from here and that’s why we’re here.” Dougie: “It’s incredible and weird that they know our songs. English isn’t their native language, but they sing all our hits; it makes us happy to see that. Now it’s our turn to learn some Spanish because we don’t know what to say in between songs.” You’ve had a short but super successful career, how do you describe what you’ve seen till now? Harry: “It doesn’t seem short, it’s been 6 good years with good friends, we’ve been through huge, unforgettable things, trips, concerts, recordings; we’ve had great memories but there’s still so much to accomplish.” Dougie: “It’s been a trip like Frodo and his friends and I’m Frodo. I’m serious, we’ve grown and matured together, our adolescence flew by as we did so many things as a band; now we’re just like one big family.” You guys started when you were younger than 20, did you always rely on your parents support as you reached your goals in music? Danny: Yes, Dougie left school when he was 15, so he had a tutor his first year in the band, but the rest of us had already finished school. In my case, my parents were worried at the beginning but they never stopped supporting us.” Tom: “You can always go back to school, but being in a band and doing this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s what we dreamed of!” Would you like to go back to college at one point? Dougie: “Yes I think that we would go. I’d like to study a lot of things; I’m interested in knowledge in general.” How do you stay grounded, without letting the fame get to your heads? Harry: “It’s gravity,” he says in a serious tone but then laughs and says, “I really think we take care of each other; I don’t think any of us are extremely crazy, we’re just normal guys that love life.” Tom: “Our manager would never let us get out of control.” Lets talk about your record, Radio:ACTIVE. What can you say about it to someone who hasn’t heard it completely? Danny: “That you’re going to find pop-rock songs. Much of the record is things that we have lived in recent years, the ups and the downs, plus it has love songs that anyone can relate to. “ Dougie: “It’s an album that will make you feel good, probably because we recorded it near the beach (in Australia). It’s a happy CD, but it does have some serious songs that don’t stop being fun to listen to.” They say that One for the Radio is about those that call McFly a guilty pleasure, does that bother you guys? Has someone already commented that they are a fan of your band? Danny: “I think the song is saying that we don’t care about that, that we are happy the way we are. I don’t know if the song will change anyone’s mind but if it does, then that’s good.” In Down Goes Another One, you guys talk about suicide. Is it a special message you want to send out to your depressed fans? Dougie: “It’s a response to a song that Tom wrote for our second CD (She Falls Asleep), about a girl that commits suicide but this one is from the guy’s point of view, the boyfriend of the girl who committed suicide. It’s not a message for the fans, but if someone were to ask us to do a campaign against these situations, we’d accept.” There’s a song (Smile) that says that a girl doesn’t have to be skinny to be your girlfriend. What attracts you to a girl? Dougie: “The truth is that we really aren’t superficial or picky. I look for someone with a sense of humor, who’s humble and positive…” Harry: “Their personality is what we’re attractive to.” Are you single, or where is your heart at? Danny: “Some of us have girlfriends but others have broken up recently. Generally, we’re all faithful.” What’s next for you guys? Tom: “We want to achieve so many things. We’d love it if Radio:ACTIVE and all our CDs were out worldwide….
