also by the looks of things are going now, i am renewing Fittipaldi's contract, but i gotta up his tempo even more, as well as his concentration stats


but it feels much more relaxed somehow knowing you are already world champion, so i can take it easier with my engine instead of fully aiming for the win

Stellar Blade - I am really liking the Game.

In particular the boss fights are really a big selling point for me, and the Sci-Fi aesthetic as I do love my Sci-Fi stuff.

And the story is much better than I was expecting, that's two different Soulslike Games that have told much better stories than I was expecting for that type of Game.

And if women in South Korea look like Eve (or even a quarter of the way there) then I want to go on holiday there.

Astro Bot - It's a really fun throwback to 90's 3D Platformers.

I don't think that it's better than Stellar Blade imo (not even close) so I do disagree with the Game Awards on that opinion.

But taking the Game on it's own merits, it is a fun Game that Sony should definitely be trying to recreate more often with their own in house Games imo.

It's a solid 8/10 experience.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is really great, although i gotta learn how to manage my budget a little better, i got bankrupt and i had to demolish some paths, a enclosure which didn't hold dinosaurs (yet) and i had to go for more expensive merch in the shopping centre as well as more expensive foods, drinks

A couple of days ago I played The Quarry.

**** me! That was below par from Supermassive Games.

The cons:

- Terrible pacing.

- Mostly unlikable characters.

- Boring gameplay

- Why oh why can't the West seem to make normal/average looking women in their Video Games these days? they say that they want to be more realistic with their depictions of women, but having them look like She-Beasts is not how most women look.

And if anyone that works at Supermassive Games are for some reason lurking on this Forum, this is your definition of a physically goodlooking woman?

I think that it's really concerning that fillers on lips is deemed attractive at Supermassive Games tbh, plus she did look more scary than the enemies in the Game imo.

I keep daring modern western Video Games to make a female character look attractive (because they do exist irl) plus Asian countries are able to do it, so the West can definitely do it.

But I suppose when they're struggling to do a more average looking woman, what hope do you have of them going one better?

And not to derail my other points too much, but the reason as to why everyone is playing the Game should've happened by the end of the first chapter imo, at worst the start of the second.

I nearly got to the halfway point of the Game, but the unlikability of most of the characters (especially Emma and Jacob) broke my spirit tbh.

I did like Dylan and Ryan though, just to add something positive about my experience with the Game.

I’m still carrying on with Red Dead Online. I’m a fully fledged Bounty Hunter and Collector and now I’ve moved onto being a Naturalist. The lady who gives the missions (Harriett I think her name is?) gets really angry if I kill animals (Wtf am I supposed to do if I’ve got a giant grizzly bear running towards me? Blow him kisses or something?) but she’s ok with me killing humans?

The missions are actually quite fun tho. It’s good to just explore on this game and just come across random events.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising

is absolutely epic!!!!


very similar to Zelda, omg yasss the nostalgia tea, last time i played that was on my N64


love how you can create your own design for ''Fenyx'' i got mine with blue hair, female and the red star across her eye


also luv the accent of the voice actress too done perfectly ''broken english'' which is a superb choice considering this is all from the greek mythology


the puzzles i've encountered so far, are decently challenging but i always like a puzzle anyway

I don't know about the other two Games, but my Brother raves about Black Myth Wukong.

But then my Brother loves anything that's got Historical Asian themes to it I think.

It always looks good though, so hopefully your son will enjoy the Game.

I've started playing Forspoken.

I'm 4 chapters in so far and I don't really see the issue with the Game really.

I feel like Forspoken (like Stellar Blade) have both been caught in a culture war between the far right and far left (because both sides are so petulant they can't just enjoy a Video Game without bringing politics into it) because to me Stellar Blade was a fantastic Game that should be celebrated for it's quality, rather than attacked for any of it's qualities that it brought to the table imo.

And Forspoken has had a fun start so far, in particular I really like the pacing of the Game as it never feels like it is having any lag in the gameplay or the story, even the side quests are giving out strong lore and worldbuilding imo, which good writing like that should be being celebrated more than it currently is in the Video Game community imo.

The combat is fun, and I controversially don't mind the dialogue, but then I don't mind Marvel humour so that probably helps.

And I know some of the reasons as to why Forspoken gets bashed by some people aren't always down to some of the other controversies that I have listed, but anyone having an issue with an Isekai Fantasy Game having a black woman leading the Game is where I just personally withdraw support to that particular political group, because they don't seem to want to judge Frey as an actual character, which I take a huge issue with personally.

And I know that some of the right leaning groups will talk about how Joheady looks in the Game, but it's one ****ing character that looks that way (at least so far anyway) it would only be an issue (imo) if every female (or male character) were being made to look not so attractive shall we say, but that's not the case in Forspoken.

Overall I think that it has at the very least been an 8/10 for me so far, I honestly was nervous about checking this Game out for no reason, those damn grifters.

i am sooooooo addicted to Immortals: Fenyx Rising


and i'm also quite good at it, whenever i see a four or more enemies i try sneaking around them


but now with

Spoiler:

Phosphor at my disposal, i can have her weaken some of my opponents first before i deliver the finishing blows with either my axe or sword

also a funny moment, in one of the vaults of tartarus, certain enemies thought they had me cornered, but i flew or jumped over them, and i was smashing them just enough until they stood on the trap with spikes which kinda helped me getting rid of some bad guys



also i cannot get enough of Fenyx, Hermes their accents, those voice actors do a absolutely terrific job

I've finally got around to playing Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter.

I was a bit unsure for the first about 20-30 minutes, but now I'm really into it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the Game should win awards, but I do think that it's a fun Game to play if you're into puzzles.

AI: The Somnium Files - Nirvana Initiative

Now I really enjoyed the first Game in the series, even the ending works well if it had never came back for a sequel.

But Nirvana Initiative is very much a mixed bag imo, I honestly don't believe that I have ever had such extremely polar opposite reactions towards one Game before.

These are my pro's & con's with Nirvana Initiative.

Some of my points will lead to spoilers.

Pros:

- Ryuki is a really interesting leading man for the Game, and in my view should've been the actual lead of the entire Game. He also had a good dynamic with Tama imo.

- Date, Boss, Moma, Mama, Pewter, Ota, and Iris were all still good characters when they were used.

- The aesthetic was really good for the Game imo.

- The explosion chapter was the best part of the narrative imo, I honestly don't believe that the Game ever topped that moment.

- Tokiko, Chikara, and Komeji were all interesting new characters for the Game.

- It got a strong emotional response out of me.

Cons:

- Ryuki gets largely sidelined after the explosion chapter, which negatively impacts the Game.

- When Mizuki is leading the Game (whichever Mizuki that you're playing as,) we do just get far too much padding/filler material that's too disconnected from the main plot of the Game.

- Something that both AI: The Somnium Files Games do suffer from for my personal taste, is a Detective Mystery Visual Novel Game that hardly focuses on the main villain, especially considering that they want you to be trying to guess who, how, and why the culprit is doing what they're doing.

It's kind of hard to do that when the villain is barely present in the story.

- Kizuna & Lien's romance is revolting with how cheesy it is imo, and it had so much time devoted to it.

- Kizuna in general just being quite unlikable as a character imo, and highly elitist.

- I don't know if this is the Dub's fault or if it's actually in the script, but two bizarre political elements creep into the Game that have absolutely nothing to do with the case.

1. We have Tama calling people "idiots" if they don't believe that LGBTQ+ is a third gender. So they had her be insulting and factually incorrect.

2. Mizuki having a bizarre rant near the end of the Game at the Marble, it was so out of the blue.

Basically this Game had a couple of moments of getting on it's soapbox, something that I hope will be fixed if they get a third Game.

- Mizuki is a decent supporting character, but she doesn't have the gravity to be the lead in my view.

And unfortunately I do think having two Mizuki's who look exactly alike is just really confusing, especially as their personalities are also quite similar to each other.

- Date needs to become the lead again.

- What was the point of Gen?


So overall I would say that it was a mixed bag.

If I were to be honest, I would score the Game between a 5 or 6/10, there's definitely worse Games out there, but there's also a lot better.
