Yes, it makes it little. It would be Jessinha, since "Jess" doesn't end in a vowel, but for a word ending in a vowel like "Ammi" it would end with zinha. It's different for guys though, it can't end with a for them, so it would be inho/zinho.

It has been a while since I was there already but it's very comforting to know that time is passing too, so I have about 17 weeks until I get to go again.

..and it's the excitement and loveliness of it being fresh and new each time as well..I had a bit of a long distance relationship with my OH back in the day..(we have a little bit now just because he works away..)...and ughhhh, it seemed endless and I would miss him so much but then when we did see each other.....it's better though now with the internet and being able to communicate more..?..
