Cher Lloyd has admitted that she was upset about being bottled at V Festival last month, but hasn't taken the incident personally.

Asked how she managed to get past the incident, Lloyd told Sugarscape: "Just to step back for a minute and realise that there's so many good things going on in my career at the moment.

"At the time I was upset about it, but the amount of support that artists have shown me and it's made me realise that it wasn't personal, it was actually something that happens to all the artists."

She added: "I heard it happened to Beyoncé. Now if that can happen to Beyoncé, I don't know why it was a big deal about me."

Cher Lloyd's debut US single 'Want U Back' was recently certified platinum in America after selling over a million copies.

The star's first fragrance, called Pink Diamond, is on sale in the UK now.

She was quite alright on live shows, I just hated her at the time because I was #TEAMGAMU, I warmed to Katie, I just couldn't with her.

But now I love her, so oh well.

Yeah, there's a good chance that she'll sneak onto a results show. US judge LA Reid (CEO and Chairman of Epic Records, the company the winner of USXF signs with) has basically taken over as her mentor since she got her big US break.
