I've always thought that Gaga would be one of those artists who was very popular and much loved at one time but then becomes boring to people and just fades out and I've thought that from the beginning of her career and I can already see this starting to happen a little tbh.

Yeah, I've always thought of her as this years Katy Perry too.
2009 was the year of Gaga though and next year there'll be someone new and Gaga will come to an end and just be seen as an ordinary artist.

Not necessarily, many artists managed successful reinventions, the obvious examples being Madonna and Christina.

but we are all judging much to quickly. We cant yet say she has faded because we're still very much in the centre of the fame era. Wait until we get a whole new album, then we can decide whether or not she has longevity.

When Britney released BOMT and that was #1 for weeks, she didn't have another #1 until BTMYH and that was three singles later, and she's one of the biggest popstars ever.
