Carew for Baros is happening apparently.

Carew from what i remember of him at Valencia is a much more prolific Peter Crouch so i'll be made up if that happens. Baros has been pish for Villa this season.

You're getting Ashley Young as well, thats some pretty shrewd buys from the Villa (and also the next Man Utd!) manager.

Always liked Martin O'Neill, always good to see a northern ireland boy doing so well.

(I'l be more than happy when he takes over from Fergie )

Walter Smith has signed Ugo Ehiogu, 34 to add to David Weir who is 36.

We're giving youth a chance.

M'ON is not going anywhere! Manure had there chance, he's ours now!

Two very ambitious signings and talk of another striker/ midfielder before the window closes, really looking foward to the summer now where we are supposedly going for world class players.

Luke Moore's back from injury and Martin Laursen... be like a new team against Newcastle a week on Wednesday!

Bardsley had an amazing debut for us btw...

We have signed Mitchell Cole from Southend for a 5 figure fee, very happy with that signing.Getting a classy player from a championship club cant be bad and shelling out some of the cash we got for Boyd shows amibition so credit to the chairman. He also posted the news article at gone 2am

Southend Utd couldn't train because bad weather for their game against Spurs today. It would seem they had a game of rugby instead of playing football.

I hope they remember what game they are playing later today or they could be the first team sent off in the history of the FA cup.

No I didn't.

I think it might have been a bad idea playing rugby we lost 3-1. We didn't play badly and we did have them worried at 2-1 for about 10 minutes until they scored another goal.

The lads played well and they didn't give up, and it was an exciting game.

If we played like that every saturday wouldn't be at the bottom of the table.

Oh well...... at least we beat Man Utd this session. That's more than many clubs have managed.

Great goal from Rooney today, exactly why we need him fully fit for the european championships next year.

We drew 1-1 away at Gravesend, I'd have taken that before the game. They have been a real suprise package this season.Morsion got his 23rd goal of the season .Why we started with Luke Oliver upfront is beyond me, just because he's the same height as Peter Crouch it dont make him as good as him.

We signed Damien Batt from St.Albans and all, good fullback that adds depth to our squad.

How old is Morison?

That's alot of goals, with not being in February yet.

He's 23.Started off at Northampton and never really got a chance but still scored a few goals but they released him and he ended up at Bishops Stortford and scored about 9 goals in their FA Trophy run and overall about 30 in 50 games. We signed him for £10,000 at the start of this season and he's never looked back and he's only played 29 games, he played 2 and scored 2 for Stortford so 25 overall this season.

Luton were meant to be interested but we made it clear we wouldnt sell as we had just sold Boyd to Peterboro for £260,000.I wouldnt be suprised if he did move soon though, scores with both feet and his head so not much more you can ask.

It's bad finishes I fear!!! I support a team perilously close to going out of the league altogether ................ fingers are crossed they survive to see another league 2 season!

Let me guess Grimsby or Torquay fan?.

Relegation to the conf might seem bad but it's not a bad league and you'll get to see your side win more .

Could still make it in the league then. Form Stevenage have shown, could reach playoffs.

Looks like Dag & Red for the league!

Alves quite far ahead of the others then .

Feyenoord suffering from the loss of Kuyt and Kalou then, is Dennebom still with them? I'm suprised to see Twente doing so well.
