' big fat juicy ones'

Which do you think would be best for breakfast ??

Mmmm, a difficult one, because as we all know..........

'Long thin slimy ones slip down easily
but short fat furry ones stick, and the juice goes 'scccchhhhlllluuu'
All the way down your throat!'

Up to you, but I had Muesli!

And suck the juice !'

Nice was it , your muesli ?

Think I'll stick to yoghurt.

I was thinking of a nice bit of brunch but I don't think I'll bother after the posts of my chums, ROB and Boris.

Anyway, I think eating worms is ecologically unsound. They are useful creatures, aerating the soil and providing bait for fisherman's hooks. I think you should eat flies instead. What use are flies?

Oh yes Mairi, they are almost worse. At least disgusting flies don't sting you. Wasp stings are painful. Personally I prefer these wasps.

Hope the 'night shift' went well.

Morning shift seems decidedly 'absent' !

I suppose it IS Sunday morning and MOST normal people are still in bed....or at church .....or wherever.

'Here' is a day of disappointment ! All the fault of the weather forcast !

A day of sun was promised here,
But all we got was rain
The 'splish and splash'
And wet, wet, wet,
Has soaked my aching brain.

But never fear,
I'll not give in,
I will not shed a tear,
I'll soldier on,
And do my best,
My thinking cap put on.

It's time to reasess now,
My attitude to life,
Come rain come shine,
All will be fine,
No need for pain and strife.

And I mean that MOST sincerely folks !!!!

Happy days to you all now

Sorry I am late this morning people!

No excuse, except the ironing, and the omnipresence of OH, who has had the morning off from running..........

Afternoon, troops - remember me?

Apologies for my absence from duty the last couple of days. Firstly due to technical failure at Mission Control - waited all day for delivery of new PC . . . . and still waiting!!! Been promised for Monday morning, though.

Secondly, arrival of VIP visitors for the weekend meant I've been otherwise occupied keeping them fed, watered and entertained - severely curtailing my access to this site.

But now I can once again give my full and undivided attention to Boris and this vital mission. Good work in my absence, everyone - you've all done very well.

I was away for a while
But now I'm back
And in my absence
You did not slack

Despite all the gloom
That Sticks tries to spread
We WILL all soldier on
And this thread's STILL not dead!

Kaz glad to see you back on this thread
As you say the thread is still not dead
So you had visitors, how hard for you
To entertain when your protection is due

I've just closed the windows because of the smell
The farmer is spraying and it smells like hell
And the hayfever season is truly here
I'm sneezing and crying together I fear

But the protection of Boris is our no. 1 task
Though sometimes in the sun we'll bask
Could this task get in that Guinness Book
Perhaps we should suggest they take a look.

The pile of ironing is staring at me
Perhaps I'll do it later, just wait and see
What is more important I ask of thee
Protection of Boris you yell at me.
