Hello Kaz...glad to see you back at your post again.

All thse 'pomes'.....

You're getting so good,
And so you all should,
It's practice you see,
You do it for me,
But now it gets harder
And harder, and harder,
To keep talking in rhyme,
All of the time.

I think I will stop,
Before I go 'pop',
But thanks to you all,
From largest to small.

Afternnon shift on the ball and evening approaching !

Atttennnnnnnnnnntion

Evening, Boris.

To keep talking in rhyme
Is a terrible strain
So if you promise to stop
Then I'll do the same!

Evening, bbceleb!

Glad to see you volunteering for nightshift - we need all the help we can get.

Troops, I may be indisposed tomorrow morning due to essential maintenance at Mission Control (I've been promised that my new PC will be installed tomorrow morning, and I intend to throw a 'hissy fit' if it's not! ) so your co-operation in covering this thread would be much appreciated until I'm fully operational again.

You can do it, troops - I have complete faith in you.

You are quite right ROB we should all be admonished most severely - go and stand in the corner with a dunce's hat on our head and repeat "We shall not let Boris down".

You are our beacon of light on a dark night - watching over the thread.

A gold star to you.

Afternoon all

Mission Control has now been fully updated, complete with flashy new flat screen monitor!

WHERE IS EVERYONE???

With the exception of my trusted RSM ROB, Bandsman BusyBee and bbceleb, , the TiBB Barmy Army has been most neglectful of this thread during my enforced absence.

Pull your socks up, you 'orrible lot!

Unless you've all decided to finally let me be the last to post on this thread, that is!

Up to you!

Evening, BigSister.

Boriswatch resumes, then I take it?

But where, oh where are my trusty Sergeants Amy and Rachb? Granted Amy submitted her notice a while back, but she had nevertheless carried out her duties faultlessly until now . . . . . . and Rachb could always be relied on to help out in a crisis . . . . . .

Where are you, my faithful Sergeants?

Thank you, ROB and BusyBee - I know I can rely completely on your support for this mission, and I'm sure that Boris is eternally grateful to you as well.

And Sticks - DOH!!! You never know - if you hadn't made that post, this thread might well have died!!!! Oh well, never mind, better luck next time.

Carry on, troops!

Good evening to you, Boris.

Sorry that cover from the troops is a bit thin on the ground just now - I think a lot of them are engrossed in a programme caled 'Big Brother 4' just now . . . . . . . never heard of it myself!

But don't you fear
Captain Kaz is here
To safeguard this thread
So it will never be dead.

Big Brother 4 what can it be
I've heard its good, I'll wait and see
12 people locked inside a house
With chicken, fish but no sign of a mouse

Each week someone gets voted out
Until one is left, the winner no doubt
Theres Jon and Cam and Sissy and Nush
Tanya, Raymondo, Fed and Gos
Not to mention Steph and Scott
Its worth a look I'm told Scott is hot

So have a look but dont forget
This post is guarded both sunny or wet
We'll not let our Boris down
Whether we live in country or town

WE WILL BE ON GUARD

New computer sounds great Kaz. I've got a flat screen at work, looks great and gives me more room to cover my desk with highly important items like my lion that roars when you through it, my voodoo orange for when I get annoyed with people complete with pins to stick in and my Chelsea lion key ring. Oh and I do manage to keep a small space for that thing called "work" whatever that is

Apology gratefully accepted, Sergeant Rachb - glad you're back on duty.

bbceleb - I'm really not too sure about this BB4's all about myself, although it's on tonight at 10 o'clock on Channel 4, so I might tune in and see what everyone's talking about!

Fantastic poem, BusyBee - I think that's a perfect 'potted history' of BB4 so far.

My flat screen monitor is also at work (alias Mission Control!) and it's absoutely fantastic. Next step is to persuade OH to get one at home . . . . . . . . . I'm working on it!

Carry on, everyone - I'm very proud of you all.
