Interesting move with Dotty. I’d forgotten about her. The new actress doesn’t look much like a “Dotty” though. I remember the kid actress looking like Wednesday Adamms.

Nope. She said Kate Oates specifically said they wanted an older actress.

So that could mean they want to give her very grown up stories.

I read an article and from what I took from it, it's that they wanted an actress to LOOK older this is why we don't skimread

How grown-up could they get? Tiff's been through some dark storylines (not that 'grownup'=dark, per se) and her actress only turned 18 a few weeks ago

I don't think she's that much older. 20 I think?

Maybe they meant someone who looked older than the original actress she might look immature for her age.

They probably invited her for a meeting just to see how she was now before opting for a recast.
