NIcky the UK is island of course there is, its the weather that is usually the issue and the cost...generally it is cheaper to holiday abroad and you are more or less guaranteed the weather

It’s been two years of summer, not one though. People have every right to want to go abroad/on holiday, especially if they’ve been vaccinated

You know better than that. It wasn't that long ago when you saw straight through Johnsons covid response.

Soooo there are now trained sniffer dogs who can sniff out Covid sufferers ( including asymptotic ) with success rates between 94% and 100% !!

Why not have a couple at every airport ?

If they ‘find’ someone they can be given the 30 minutes LFD test ..

As I understand it ... just because they’ve been vaccinated doesn’t mean they can’t get a mild or asymptotic dose of Covid plus they could still transmit it ..

Still 20,000 new infections and they could include gawd knows how many different strains/variants.

Supposedly restrictions will remain in place until the number is consistently below a 1,000 ( scientists actually would prefer it to be under 100 !!)

I just got my letter for the vaccine.
I'm not sure if to wait for the gp to contact me or to book to a vaccinarion centre.
The centre won't have my notes about my chronic illness.

The letter says that the gp will contact me.
So I just have to wait.

You'll be fine Ness. I would just get it done if I were you. My Dad has underlying conditions and he went to a centre, they asked him about his current medications and underlying conditions etc. The sooner you are vaccinated, the safer you'll feel
