Don't get me wrong, she's not unattractive, but people go on about her like she was the most beautiful woman who ever lived.

I think the relatively unglamorous, skinny French actresses like Anna Karina and Jean Seberg were much prettier than the sparkly, curvy, golden age of Hollywood types. Even the young Catherine Deneuve.

I prefer both to the modern day plastic skinny Hollywood star of today though. Women like Jolie have all the artifice of somebody like Anne Baxter with none of the feminity. Nicole Kidman whose looks smack of girl-next-door aussie soap actress gone Hollywood. And then you have the incredibly average looking Julia Roberts.

My interest in these things is purely aesthetic though.
