If we keep getting shows like we have the past few days the ratings have to go up

I agree, I mean in theory this is the kind of series so far that really should be getting 4m - 5m if not more, as it deserves to, and in the golden years it probably would've, obviously that's never going to happen but you'd hope it'd reach at least 2m.

honestly jack i have no idea what you are watching.
Good for you that you are enjoying what they are presenting but it is cheap and horribly forced.
I wish i could put my fingers in my ears and my head in the sand and pretend everything was mint banter
Unfortunately i must have picked a different coloured pill. 4-5 million

1.5m for last night

Held up very well against the match managing to beat the evictions and last nights ratings. It was also only 10k down from Thursdays episode. It BEAT the equivalent first Sunday rating of BB12. (1.45m)

I really wanna see the demos for the ratings.
If its mainly 16-32 channel 5 will be happy.
Besides that its a fail.

Also channel 5 should keep it on at 9pm!
Its on a 9pm again tonight!

So far, the series seems to be retaining its core audience .....

It's only going to retain a core audience now, the days of good ratings are over tbh.

Like how it is holding up. =)

I reckon tonight will be tougher. As BB faces the 2 teams that England is to face in their group, so maybe the whole country will want to see what they are up against?

But with +1, I reckon 1.5m can be reached again. I reckon it could be getting 1.7m+ at 9pm without the Euro's being on.

Thinking about it The Football on could be good for Big Brother really because when people are watching TV they get into the habit of it and after the match i bet a good few people switched over to Big Brother, if the match wasn't on people would have probably just did something else and not watched TV at all

Now I'm no supporter of the silly editing and montages, and I'm still not happy there's no live feed, but there's no denying this is one of the best casts they have chosen in years. We've not had this much entertainment in a first week in a long time, BB6 as far as I'm concerned - and surely you agree that remains one of the best series ever?

I'm half and half on whether I want this series to succeed. I don't want it to to in effect hopefully prove a point to C5 regarding the live feed, but then I do because I don't want them to drop the main show altogether as I suspect they will do, and because this is shaping up to be a good series.

Makes sense actually the Ireland fans probably turned over the Channel 5 after the opening 150 seconds.
