Amanda Bynes has completed inpatient rehabilitation and is recovering at her parents' home in Los Angeles, Bynes' mother's attorney tells People.

"Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery," lawyer Tamar Arminak says in a statement. "Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."

"I am doing very well," Bynes told In Touch magazine on Dec. 3. "I'm doing great, it's been five days since I got out of rehab."

Bynes was involuntarily hospitalized on a 5150 psychiatric hold in July after she was seen standing near a small fire on a household driveway in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Per a judge's orders, she was sent into treatment and later moved to a rehabilitation facility in Malibu.

"Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared," Arminak tells People, adding that the 27-year-old actress is looking to start another fashion line. (She did design a collection called Dear for Steve & Barry's in Aug. 2007, but the partnership ended once the company went bankrupt, E! News noted.)

"She's now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design," the statement continues. "She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line."

According to Arminak, Bynes' mother will remain in indefinite control over the actress' well-being and finances as she recovers. Bynes will also appear in court on Jan. 7, 2014 after a judge reviewed her court-ordered medical evaluation in November and determined that she is capable of understanding the DUI charges she faces, which stem from an April 2012 incident in which she allegedly side-swiped a police car.

Amanda Bynes seems to be trying to turn her life around. The former actress has reportedly enrolled in fashion school.

The story comes exclusively from E! News, who is reporting that Amanda Bynes is enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Orange County.

Although Amanda did not attend the first day of classes, her name is reportedly still on the list of all students enrolled for the winter semester.

besides fulfilling every horrible stereotype of a child star,? amanda bynes makes mackauly caulkin look healthy. and kenan does't want to be seen as a child star...maybe??

he already has to deal with his own stereotypes coming from nickelodeon. where's kel??? he probably hears that every day on the street whenever he goes out.

Amanda working on SNL will not suddenly make people think, 'oh yeah, Kenan from that 90s show Kenan And Kel!' ? Personally i think she would make a fantastic addition to the show (once she's fully better)
