While I think Bale is a very good player and I think he has slightly more about him than Ronaldo, I just don't see anyone apart from Messi competing with Ronaldo's goal scoring ability.

I think that you could have Ronaldo playing as a one man team and he would score at least one goal.

I know it was more long winded than expected but this has been playing on my mind for awhile lol.

when did he resign as assistant manager btw? (not sure if he has actually, I just remember him being the bloke to speak to me on Football Manager whenever Sylvain Wiltord was missing training or w/e)
