I think the victim (or victim's family, if the victim died as a result) should be able to dictate the punishment of the criminal, if a jury finds them guilty; with a judge merely there to ensure it's not totally over the top or too lenient.

I agree with this too, that's why i'm in favour of the death penalty.

i know if someone I loved was brutally murdered, i'd want the person who killed them dead.... that's just me though

People from other countries should NOT be allowed to come here, be housed, set up businesses take jobs, use our NHS, and so on and so on.

We should have far tighter restrictions and immigration policies, all the red tape. Should take a leaf out of Australia's book.

I'm not labelling people from other countries as anything Ben, but there's an awful lot of scroungers come here and get everything going. Other countries wouldn't accept it, why do we? My point is not to have a pop at these people although I don't like what they do, it's our Governments and systems that allow it to go on.
